On april 20, 2007, i wrecked my civic on the freeway when the car in front of me suddenly hit their brakes, and when i applied my brakes which did not work properly causing my car fishtailed and run into the cement freeway divider. my car was a total loss, and i had to buy another car. *tr

Whenever the brakes were applied, front brakes would chatter when driving 55mph the brakes would pulsate. at low speed they would not feel the pulsating. been to dealer numerous times for brakes. rotors & pads had been changed. so far, only happened 3 times. *ak

I own a 1996 honda civic ex,, i am having alot of trouble with rotors going bad. i have changed the brakes bought new roters and i'm having trouble with the abs not working right.as there been a recall on this problem?*ak

Recall 96v106000. the hydraulic brakes drag, the brake rotors have been changed, the problem still exists. dealer cannot duplicate the problem. *ak

Recall 96v10 000/brakes:hydraulic:power assist:check valve: reporting an ongoing problem with poor brake performance. dealer/manufacturer notified. please provide any further details on this matter. *ak

Abs brakes failed.

While driving about 20 mph in rainy weather consumer put on brakes and the vehicle swerved and turned on the other side of the road, spinned around and hit the back of a another vehicle, consumer stated that the air bags did not deploy. has contacted the dealer. *ak also passengers seat collasped.*jb

When applying the abs brakes on dry pavement the pedal traveled to the floor, causing extended stopping distance which resulted in a vehicle collision. consumer also states that the driver's/passenger's air bags did not deploy. please give futher details. *ak

Front disc brakes failed, vehicle lost control, resulting in a crash/injuries. *ak

Weather wet; driving; started turning into driveway; vehicle started to slide; had no brakes or steering control; hit parked vehicle; 2nd time going around curve 6/13/97, had same problem with same weather conditions; will be taking to dealer. *ak

Brake booster check valve failed.

Brake rotors keep warping. has happened 3 different times. at dealer's & rotors cut down. no warranty. rotor problem keeps returning. *ak

Antilock brakes failed.

Driving along about 40 mph when abs brakes failed, did not hit anything but air bags deployed, vision blocked, causing an accident. *ak *ak

Brake check valve failed failed twice, resulting in accidents prior to/after recall repairs (96v-106). *ak

While driving the vehicle's brake booster check valve stuck, causing vehicle to hit another vehicle. *ak *slc

Power brakes failed, causing accident.

Brakes are overheating and causing the rear rotors to warp. rotors were turned at 3,000-5,000 miles. rotors are warping again at 18,000 miles. this condition causes the vehicle to shake in the rear end when applying the brakes. *ak

96v106, recall related, backing out of driveway applied brakes, impact 6:00 postion, speed 10mph, notication letter received when accident occurred, vehicle in for repair and dealership refused to repair. *ak

Brake booster failed.

Front brakes constantly locked up. *ak

While driving, slowed for light in rainy, put on brakes, brakes failed, car did not stop, went through a light, resulting in an accident/injury prior to recall (96v-106). *ak

Antilock brakes locked up , causing accident.

Loss of brake power assist, causing consumer to have an accident. *ak.

Attempted to stop at a railroad crossing by applying the brakes and the brakes failed and caused the consumer to rearend the vehicle in front.*ak consumer states this is not vehicle.( attorney for client)*jb

While driving the consumer went to apply the brakes and the pedal went straight to the floor, the vehicle slid about 30ft. before stopping. dealer has been contacted. *ak the consumer received a recall notice on brake booster check valve and took the vehicle to the dealer. the dealer told him the vehicle was in good condition. after a while the vehcile needed new brakes and consumer replaced it at his expense. the consumer is asking for reimbursment. *yh

Brake check valve failed.

Brakes failed until vehicle warmed up. *dh
