My gmc youkon denali has brake lights that are known to dealers to fail. yet there is not a recall. i looked on the inter net and saw that there has been this problem since 2015 to 2018. because of a joint that was soldered instead of a wire. i know why when i brought it in for recall that the service man looked at my stop lights.
On repeated occasions (from 2015 to 2019) i have experienced sudden acceleration at low speeds and sudden jerking motions. the transmission and speed controls are unpredictable and dangerous. this is hazardous and may result in a loss of control. i have also experienced numerous issues with the brakes including a stuck caliper at approximately 42,000 miles. i reported these issues and numerous other issues to gmc corporate, tustin buick gmc only to be told that it was a software issue and things are satisfactory and safe. gmc contends that the vehicle is fine and declines to assist with issues. this is an ongoing issue. the date below is approximate. the mileage is approximate on all entries.
