Recently reported UNKNOWN OR OTHER problems on 2012 GMC Yukon

The entire front dash is beginning to separate. there is a crack in the dash where the airbag is located. it appears to be caused from the airbag.

The dashboard is cracked on driver side with plastic pieces falling down into dash, dashboard is also cracked on passenger side on the corner of the airbag. this is a known issue and i want it fixed. i feel that the airbags ability to deploy on passenger side is compromised if an accident occurs. i bought this vehicle with thoughts of being safe for me, my wife and two small children. gm has said they are not going to fix it, this is my last plea for help. replacing is expensive but feel like it's defect in vehicle design(evident by how many complaints i found). if there is a accident in this vehicle and airbag fails i will hold gm accountable for any harm caused to my family.

Dashboard cracked in 2 areas. off the upper left corner of the airbag & on the window side of the drivers console. car was in the driveway stationary.

Dashboard has multiple cracks.

Dash pad on my 2012 yukon denali cracked while sitting.

The dashboard is cracked around the passenger airbag and i think this is a safety hazard.

Dashboard is cracking. if airbag is deployed dash may present a flying objects safety hazard with pieces of dash acting as projectiles.

There are two cracks on dash located on both sides just above passenger airbag . i am worried about plastic projectiles if involved in an accident. i am aware of several thousand other complaints of the exact same nature. i had spoke to faulkner gmc trevose about this issue.they did inform me they were aware of the problem and that they had several other complaints but refused to help due to the expiration of my bumper to bumper warranty. there was no trauma to vehicle. dashboard is just cracking. the vehicle is exceptionally taken care of and garage kept.

The dash is cracking right above the steering column and next to the passenger airbag. they're very significant cracks that have exposed what's under the dash. i have more pictures that the system wouldn't allow me to upload. available upon request.

Cracked dashboard.

Dashboard cracked spontaneously from top edge to window edge over odometer and a small crack at passenger airbag.

Large cracks in the dashboard formed around passenger airbag as well as above instrument cluster. loss of dashboard integrity in the event of airbag deployment seems highly probable.

Dash board has cracked in two places around the air bag on the passenger side. the vehicle was stationary when the cracks happened.

The dashboard cracked by the air bag.

Dash board cracked above instrument panel and around the passenger side airbag, the vehicle was not moving when crack happened, parked it, when i came back out to drive it had big crack above the instrument panel and small cracks around passengers airbag.

Cracked dashboard on both drivers and passengers side. cracks may impede proper airbag deployment and/or send dashboard fragments into passenger compartment during airbag deployment.

The plastic dash on my yukon is cracking around the passenger airbag and in front of the instrument cluster on the driver's side. seems like if the passenger airbag were to go off that it would propel pieces of this broken plastic dash.

The dashboard is cracked in three different places. the first cracked happened at about 24,000 miles right above the steering well. the second crack is on the passenger side leading up to the passenger airbag. that happened at about 50,000 miles. the third crack is in front of the steering wheel it travels upward to meet the first crack making it into a y shaped. this happened at about 55,000 miles. the car is parked in a garage most of the time. the passenger side seat belt buckle in the middle row and the middle seat belt buckle in the third row both fell apart making the buckles unusable.
