Takata recall has been outstanding since 2016. the risk specifically states: "the propellant in some types of takata airbag inflators can degrade over time, especially after long term exposure in hot and humid regions. if the propellant degrades to a certain level, the inflators may rupture during deployment, causing serious or fatal injuries." i live in a hot and humid area, and i have a family. i also have a reasonable expectation of safety and reliance upon this vehicle, and considering the cost of vehicles these days, seems like companies would show a bit more love and consideration for their customers. i panic every time i get in my vehicle, just out of worry of what might happen in the event of a collision.
My service air bag light is on and the lil air bag symbol stays on also my service tire monitor light stays on
Takata recall. received notification in july 2016. have contacted dealer several times and am being told there is no remedy available.

Takata recall i'm concerned with this recall for the safety of myself and two kids. i called our local gmc dealer and they said the parts were not available yet to get it fixed. i noticed that takata has filed for bankrupcy so i'm concerned that this might not get taken care of in a timely manner.

Takata recall. called gmc service center to schedule air bag recall @ bert ogden buick gmc,4216 us-281, edinburg,(956) 348-1113 and they said they can't fix because there is no remedy yet. i checked the airbag recall website and my vehicle has been recalled due to air bag from takata.
