I received a letter over a year ago from gmc, important safety recall. when i contacted the local dealer they said they could not help get this repair done. i waited another year and received a postcard from what looks like to be tk holdings, it directions are to go to this website for arrangements to get your car fixed and when i do that, it says that matters are not resolved between gmc and tk holdings. meanwhile, there is a potentally serious on my vehicle.

Takata recall and dashboard cracked in many places and still developing new cracks. can not find a dashboard replacement at all in the color needed. we received a notice dated july 2016 for airbag recall but not to bring it in until further notice. still waiting. also the dash is just getting more and more cracks even with a dashboard velour cover. please help us.

Takata recall. recall issued in 2016 but as of 12/04/2017 there is still not a solution. i have an airbag indicator light currently on and am afraid that airbag will not inflate when needed or might inflate when not needed. also, in unrelated issue the entire display on the dash has stopped working as well. i have searched web and i do see indications that there are active recalls for electrical however my dealer says there are not any electrical recalls for my vehicle.

An recall was issued in may 2016 by the takata corp for a defective airbag. to date (9/23/2019) nothing has been done! when i research the current status of this recall it states: "remedy not yet available" this is a potential danger to my family so please do something to resolve this matter

I was issued a recall notice for a safety defect on takata passenger side airbag on 5/27/16. i've contacted gm on multiple occasions and keep getting the answer of parts/resolution not available yet. i'm driving a vehicle with a safety defect for a year and a half now gm unwilling to properly repair.

Recall since 2016 no remedy as of now just checked with dealer to verify received notice of takata airbag inflators are defective and the manufacturer is going bankrupt don't know what to do have until december 7, 2017 to file a claim don't know how to do that.

Takata recall. i am unable to sell my car because of this recall, which has now surpassed 2 years of incompletion. i cannot afford another vehicle because of this and it has severely affected my life. please make them issue a remedy for the common folk that are being so adversely affected.

Cracked dash by the passenger airbag, i also received a notification of a recall for airbags and a promise to notify when parts are available, i complained to gm and they responded that they will not replace cracked dash , i am a deployed military servicemember and do not have time for corporate greed, let gm know i will never buy any of their products again unless they can prove to me that their cars are safe!

Airbag light is on. dealer finds r/f impact sensor. code-b008439. chevy-gmc-states 3 year 10,000 mile warranty with vehicle has expired .mileage on vehicle is 43,592. cost will be around $400.00. i find this is a safety issue with a factory part. chevy-gmc should take care of this issue. it's all about safety! . thank-you.

Dash is cracked above the passenger side air bag as well as driver side above dash cluster, potentially causing high velocity projectiles in the event of airbag deployment. vehicle was stationary when cracks occurred.

The dash is cracked near the airbag and i am concerned for the safety of my passengers if an accident were to occur.

Front dash on the vehicle has cracked around the air bags. this is a safety concern. if the air bags deploy, the cracked plastic will act as shrapnel, causing serious damage.

The airbag recall was initiated 5/27/16. takata notified drivers 6/25/17 upon their filing for bankruptcy. i have been calling the gmc dealership in my hometown where i purchased the car since september 2017. today again they tell me they do not have the replacement for this defective airbag. they are weisner gmc dealer in huntsville tx telephone 936-291-7500. what more can i do??? what good is a recall notice required by the company sent to drivers/owners by tk holdings, inc. of monroe, wi if nothing is done to replace the defective part??? please advise what else i can do as a taxpayer, driver, citizen, before i am a victim??? please communicate with me by email or cell phone. if no answer, please leave a detailed message, and i will call you back. i do not answer numbers i do not recognize or have identified in my phone.

I have tried to submit my yukon for tanaka recall remedy several times by contacting my local gmc dealership. their service dept continues to tell me that they do not have parts available to modify my vehicle. a few years ago i broadsided a lexus suv which 'ran a traffic light'. my airbags did not deploy, while several of the airbags deployed in the lexus. i felt that my life might have been at risk since the airbags did not deploy, or alternately, at even worst risk if they did explode upon deployment. who is responsible for addressing this issue? the gmc dealer says they are not! i have photos of the accident and a police report stating that the lady was responsible for
