Trying to stop slowly and abs system move my yukon to a point i almost hit the car in front of me. it happens when i try to stop under 10 miles per hour. also 2wd drive drops to 4wd on highway and lose power. this is dangerous on the highway.
Tl* the contact owns a 2004 gmc yukon. the contact stated that upon inspection, it was found that the transmission constantly needed to be filled but there were no visible leaks. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was found that the cylinder heads had failed. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not contacted about the failure. the failure mileage was 100,000.
Tl*the contact owns a 2004 gmc yukon. the contact stated that the four wheel drive indicator illuminated. there was a service bulletin for the failure, which has been occurring since the vehicle was purchased. while driving 45 mph, the vehicle dropped to low four wheel drive and it felt like the engine was about to drop. the contact heard a lot of noises. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and repaired at the contact's expense. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 53,000.
There was malfunction in the power train driveline, which resulted*jb in the truck shifting from 2wd to 4wd by itself. the dealership has serviced the truck 3 times and replaced the 4wd switch and the transfer case. the problem still exist. *jb
