Tl* the contact owns a 2004 gmc yukon xl 1500. while driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle began to shake. the engine stalled and lost power. the stability system disabled and reduced engine power warning lights illuminated. the contact pulled over to the side of the road, turned off the engine, waited, and then restarted the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to a local dealer who was unable to duplicate and diagnose the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was approximately 200,000.

Gmc yukon xl denali -traction stability problem registers on dash and car bogs down and will not accelerate if you let up on the accelerator it will seem to improve - took car to mechanic and had wheel sensor replaced did not improve till rust build up was removed from on the splined hub it has since returned - went on line and other people have expressed similar problems but did not find any answers of dealers being able to correct - could be a potential problem which could cause rear end collisions if someone is following to close in the rear since the vehicle nearly comes to a stop. *tr
