I was driving on the expressway on 04/01/2015 when my vehicle suddenly lost power nearly causing a wreck. i pulled over and the reduced engine power error was illuminated. i turned off my truck and restarted it, i managed to make it home without other incident. the next day, it did it again while on the way to the shop. my mechanic narrowed the problem down to the accelerator sensor located on the gas pedal. it was replaced, but i was concerned about the throttle body as well. while doing research on this, i ran across a number of people with the same problem in newer vehicles. why hasn't gm recalled this? do people have to get hurt first before anything is done?
