Problems with 2009 GMC Yukon Hybrid STEERING

While driving on the highway between 65-70 miles an hour my vehicles check engine light came on and la message of engine power reduced appeared. the vehicle loss power but i was able to make it to the shoulder safely. the car would not turn on and i had to cal aaa to take my care to the dealer. the dealer said that the valve body internally shorted the memory circuit and the crankshaft sensor shorted. the dealer said that they found the harness for the crankshaft had melted and shorted out the sensors. they repaired the harness, replaced the shorted out sensor and replaced the valvebody/tcm. do not know what caused the valve body to short and cause the crankshaft sensor to melt. *tr

11/25/2012 - hybrid shut down with no warning at 65mph on i-80 going west near ohio border - thus lost power steering and propulsion. i got to shoulder safely; towed to gmc dealer - result hybrid fault code but no cause determined. connector greased with dielectric grease, and fault could not be replicated. 12/24/2012 - hybrid failure after parked for 2 hours. towed to gmc dealer; cascade of hybrid fault codes, and transmission harness cable replaced. no explanation given as to why harness cable failed. no component of hybrid system ever replaced. back-up re service hx. mailed to odi under this tcn. ...updated 04-03-13 *bf updated 06/17/2013 *js
