Power lift gate will not open. the lift gate was working but would not stay in the up position. i had to replace the lift gate support strut. after replacing the right strut the gate would not open using the key fob, or the botton inside of vehicle, nor will it lift when using the botton on the gate.

In 2 days, the vehicle has stalled on me. i was in the parking lot and another car almost hit me since the car slowed down and the steering wheel got hard then shut off. today, i almost got hit again after stopping at a stop sign going into a turn i almost hit someone and a car almost hit me.
Three times when i want to start the car it starts and turn of at the time driving backward to get out of parking space. one of the cases was at the time i wanted to go forward
On star not working red light on compass dose not work.
Third time while driving on city streets the car begins to shake and stall. i pull over or stay in place as the car proceeds to turn off. the service stability traction and engine lights light up and the car dies. each time i am able to turn the car back on within a few minutes.
Started march of 2017 progressively getting worse. suv jerks, gauges go crazy, check engine light comes on, if slow to below 20 mph it sputters and won't accelerate, if i stop completely it won't accelerate. multiple times this has happened on the interstate during rush hour traffic & at busy intersections. if i turn car off and back on the system resets. then it starts all over again. it has been in and out of the shop. probably 10-15 times in 2years. they get codes, but then these go away before they can be 'run'. i broke down 1-1/2 weeks ago in bay minette & the car wouldnt start back up. i was stranded out of town and had to rent a car to get back home. the dealer there got 7 error codes that all cleared out. i have filed a compjaint with gmc, but they are slow to handle the problem & i can't get supervisors on the phone or at least one who doesn't seem like he's been drinking.

radio stopped functioning on august 26th. there was no volume, i could not change the stations by steering wheel or touch. the bluetooth would not work. the dash lights would not turn off and remained on the entire evening. i called gmc support and they said to unplug the battery, but i did not do so as i didnt want to mess anything up. i took the car in to the dealership the following day. i was told they see this issue often and by unplugging and resetting the battery, it will fix the issue. problem resolved. radio stopped functioning again on september 2nd. same issues as above. took the car in and was told this time that it has something to do with onstar and they are working on a fix. until they have a permanent solution, i was told if the issue happens again to press the white button on my rearview mirror. problem resolved. radio stopped functioning again on september 3rd. pressed the white button on the rearview mirror for over 20 minutes before the radio starting functioning properly again. problem resolved. i called gmc to file a complaint on september 12 because the dealership general manager had not responded to me. gmc called the dealership and confirmed the issue was indeed related to the onstar component and that there is no fix. gmc said that it was probably not safe to drive the vehicle if the dash lights staying on are draining the battery. they went as far as saying they could get me a loaner car until my issue is fixed, but there is no eta. with gmc saying it's not safe to drive with that issue, i'm now not sure what to do with it.
