We have classified the 2 complaints from 2000 GMC Jimmy about TIRES into the following categories.
Started out with a wobble on the tire then my ball joints upper and lower left and right front along with my tie rods inner and outer left and right my left ball barring hub was replaced on the left side front also i still have to replace the stabilizing front bar which i will be purchasing this week of sept 1st. this all happened just these past two weeks and now i am forced to purchase 4 tires that i cannot afford after spending all that money to fix the front end. please help me. i did not have any accidents that is just from driving to work and for pleasure. *tr
Rollover- on a u-turn truck overturned! destroyed truck- could have killed someone easily. passenger side crushed. 46,000 miles. 4 sets of brakes on this truck. they are horrible, never again buy a gmc. tires are equally bad. *ak
Consumer states while vehicle was parked driver side tire exploded. dealer notified. *ak
My 2000 gmc jimmy uniroyal laredo tire blew out while traveling at 60 mph, no one was injured. but the company rep at discount tire says it had to be low on air. i do not agree i had checked all my tires just the week before and they all had the same pressure of 32 psi, the tire split horizontally in four places in the front and 1 in the back. *jb
While driving about 35 mph right front tire blewout, causing consumer to lose control of vehicle, and roll over where vehicle was totaled. *ak two tires were flat, one on the rear of the vehicle also. **yh
The spare tire in the vehicle is blocking the veiw of the consumer to the rear window. dealer has been contacted. please provide any futher information. *ak
