The hidden weldment holding the rear liftgate strut broke causing the strut to become dislodged and allowing the gate to violently fall on my back, shoulders and head. while painful for me this could have catastrophic impact on a child. i took the vehicle to a gm dealer who said they couldn't repair this and suggest i talk to a body shop. *tr
