Since my 2007 ford taurus hit the 100k mile mark, everything started failing. first it was a simple cam sensor, then radiator (x2) throttle body, (x4 each winter for 4 years in a row would just fail. ended up replacing with an after market brand. haven't had a problem since) now recently, with in the last 6 months, all suspension (struts, sway links, ball joints) all failed. replaced rears once, fronts are still a problem on second new pair. going on third pair just with in 2 months of each replacement, the struts just fail. tried several brand. kyb, and gabriel. all failed after only 2 to 3 months of replacing. plus tie rods, and ends are bad. already stuck in a good $3000 just to keep this car drivable. wondering if it`s even worth fixing anymore at this point. mechanics can`t explain why all of the sudden, the car`s eating struts in such short time. nothing appears to be damaged under body. and i purposely avoid pot hole ridden side roads, and rail road crossings when i can. so it`s not like i`m being rough on the car. never had so many problems with my 2001 ford taurus. should have just kept it. :( *tr
