While traveling at highway speed with cruise control engaged. suddenly vehicle commenced to accelerate and smoke was coming from under hood, hot plastic from the dash was falling on the leg of the driver, also, driver's shoe and sock caught on fire; vehicle left road into a field and struck a tree. state patrol arrived to assist. please feel free to provide any further details. *ak

Oil filter - first change. contact with bare nut which is live wire to battery grounded out causing fire when oil wrench contacted oil filter and hot wire. thanks greg damewood

While driving down the road vehicle will shut off in the middle of the road. took vehicle to dealer, and they replaced burned out starter. but can't duplicate the problem. *ak

While traveling 45-50 mph on highway vehicle stalled/stopped for no appearent reason. all power was lost.vehicle has not been in an accident. this has occured 3 times. *ak
