When it gets cold outside, my turn signals won't work until the cab of my truck warms up. when it is warm outside, the turn signals work perfectly.

Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2010 ford ranger. while driving at an unknown speed and attempting to make a turn, the turn signal did not work. there were no warning indicators illuminated. as an independent mechanic, the contact pulled out the turn signal relay and noticed that the relay was burnt. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. also, the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v384000 (air bags). the dealer was contacted (paradise ford, cocoa, fl, 321-632-2222) and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. the failure mileage was approximately 170,000. vin tool confirms parts not available. ...updated 10/19/17 *bf *js
