Takata recall. i first became aware of this recall when i purchased the vehicle in november 2016. i have submitted two letters to nhtsa to deactivate passenger-side airbag, since it is a single cab. i cannot transport anyone in the passenger seat because of this airbag, and there is no availability of replacement airbags. the letters i sent in dec 16 and oct 17 have gone unanswered. i filled out an email to nhtsa last week and have just gotten off the phone to nhtsa. i need this airbag deactivated until replacement is available. i am in touch with local ford dealer, "speedway ford' in griffin, ga 30224, but they cannot resolve the matter either.

Takata recall. i received a notice that takata is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy. i would like to take action to have my recalled airbags replaced. i have been to multiple ford dealerships spanning 2 years to try to remedy the problem, but parts are never available. please help. thank you
