Tl* the contact owns a 2005 ford ranger. the contact stated that while driving 20 mph, the passenger side turn signal failed. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the steering column multi function switch would need to be replaced. the contact was informed of a recall for nhtsa campaign number: 11v352000 (exterior lighting). the manufacturer was notified but stated the vin was not part of the recall. the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure mileage was 65,000 and the current mileage was 70,000.

Headlamp switch knob breaks and falls off. 2nd replacement in 2005 ford ranger with 8000 miles. without knob, impossible to turn headlamps on and off without pliers. had to buy new switch knobs.
