Takata recall. ford dealership in colorado springs colorado states they do not have repair parts available. is this a valid statement from the dealership? i have been receiving recall notices for approximately three years. first in san diego ca, second in lincoln ne and now in colorado springs co. I did receive a letter about fours years ago and no ford dealer around here would help me out with this recall. no recall was done on this truck .
No longer own this vehicle. have not owned in at least 2 years. vehicle was rear ended and totaled. please stop sending recall notices.
My husband t-boned a semi at 35 mph. the truck spun around and the rear of the truck also hit the semi. the airbags did not deploy. he incurred multiple injuries, some of which could have been minimized had airbags deployed. the truck was totaled. there was a direct hit -- i.e. front of truck hit side of semi and destroyed engine (and more), yet air bag did not deploy. . *tr
We were traveling north on highway 37 and a car traveling west pulled out from a stop sign in front of is we hit the front passenger side of our truck into the other vehicles left front and our truck continued over the top of the other vehicles front end.the airbags on our truck did not deploy. *tr

On about january 24 ,2008 i was involved in a accident where i hit some black ice and slid of the road and run in to a bank and did alot of damage to the front end and the air bags did not deploy and should have. the body shop that fixed it they should have and i hurt my chest when i hit the steering wheel. *tr
I was in a front end crash in my 2005 ford ranger which had over $8000 in repairs. my (air bags)did not work. i had it at a ford dealership to check it out. there was to me that the g force was not enough for them to deploy. i would like to if that is correct. they told me it cost too much to replace the air bags! *nm
