Recently reported SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC problems on 2000 Ford Ranger

Started having problems with brakes 3 mos after purchase. at 4230 (7/1/00) miles the shoes & pads were replaced & front rotors machined. at 7989 miles (9/16/00) the rear brakes were replaced & front rotors machined again. at 11085 miles (12/11/00) the front rotors were replaced. at 14672 miles (2/22/01) front rotors were cut. at 18224 miles (5/2/01) rabs valve, master cylinder, front pads all replaced & front rotors replaced (again). at 32457 miles (1/14/02) front pads need replaced (again) & front rotor needs to be machined (again), rear drums were machined. all repair orders refer to the rotor surface as being "uneven" or "out of round".*ak

Brakes pulling to left when stopping, dealer says ford working on it. dealer fails to attempt repair. advises me to drive until notified in future. *ak

Vehicle pulled to the right when brakes were applied. dealer notified, and made some repairs. currently, vehicle was still pulling to the left. dealer notified again, and was unable to resolve the problem. *ak

While attempting to stop truck, i applied the brakes gentaly, truck shook violently and pulled to the left, almost causing an accident with another vehicle

Vehicle pulled to the right or left when applying brakes in a sudden/emergency situations. also, pedal pulsated when applying brakes, and became worse when applying brakes at higher speed. vehicle has been in dealer's shop. dealer informed consumer that nothing could be found. *ak

Was driving 55mph & vehicle would drift left when brakes applied. took to dealer & nothing found. drove some more & problem was getting worse. took it back & service manager indicated problem was with the brakes. it was drifting left. also, would drift when steering was released & shaking. tires were found out of balance. firestone, wilderness atx, 0235/75r15. right front tire went flat & was informed ran over a nail, but it could not be produced. *ak
