Air bag sensor came on and will not go off. it isn't working properly. the airbag sensor light comes on and stays on, regardless if there is a person in the seat or not. passenger air bag seems to be showing off all the time. i'm concerned that they aren't working properly.
Passengers air bag sensor does not work properly. when starting the car the passengers airbag light (0ff) comes on and goes away immediately regardless if there is a person in the sit (adult). air bag seems to be on all the time with no light indicated. don't even know if it works
I was parking backing up when the horn went on the first time. i thought that i might have touched the horn sign accidentally. driving away from work the same problem happened again the same day, horn went on blaring loud again but this time hands was well positioned on the wheel. when making turn left or right horn would sound out loud again. when car is parked outside and the temperature is high horn would sound on and off. it happened also while car was in motion in the traffic blaring so loud on and off to cause fear and anxiety. the horn would go on and off even park in the driveway at night and during the day causing nuisance in community. took car to the dealership at the services department after hearing the horn loud blaring(sd) decided to disable it until they checked the problem. the diagnostic reveled a faulty electrical wiring affecting the ignition and air bag. been having this issue two weeks before memorial weekend may 2019, issue occurring up to this moment.
On going! dealership here in florida states okay? stearing is a problematic , electrical systems need to be checked, turning needs to checked. they have my car listed as a hybrid? it is not. multiple complaints

I have received a settlement form as well as for this lease fusion and my first one as well. i it not acting correct! gas smell , sterrng, horn weak, took to dealership at woodbridge with my friend while i am not in fla . for the short while the previous car red 2015 was replaced at purvis ford in fredricksburg, va. when i was here last time in 2015. it was ready to blow!
I still haven't had my air bag replaced by our local ford dealer. i received a notification earlier this year that it would be replaced before the year is up. so far, i have heard nothing.
Takata recall- i had on previous ford fusion. tires, stability, wipers, ripped into i just bought two new tires august 2018. the car is under 9,000. miles! the red one previous was 10,ooo, miles when i had to turn in lease, and pressured by a salesman. plus they put on extra packages, and when i called, i said take it off, etc... they did not! i had trouble turning car at times(both) they have run off the road because of tires and other things. it was highway driving. always.
Tl* the contact leased a 2016 ford fusion. while driving various speeds, the vehicle swerved independently, rolled over twice, and landed in a wet field. the contact was unsure if the driver blacked out. the air bags failed to deploy. the driver sustained bruises to the body and whiplash. the passenger also sustained bruises and whiplash from the side window that was wrapped around her. both occupants required medical attention. a police report was filed. the vehicle was destroyed and towed to a tow lot. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: cas-152226495. the approximate failure mileage was 60,000. the vin was not available.
The air bag will not go off
On saturday mar 31,2018 on my way home from work i was going through a green light on a city street and hit a car that failed to stop. the front end of car hit the right side of the other car. none of my airbags deployed and my car has been totaled due to massive front end damage
Car stopped accelerating in the middle of the highway, yellow wrench light came on and airbag light came on. the car started shaking and came to a complete stop. i barely made it to safety on the highway full of cars. i pulled over and turned it off because it wouldn't drive. i turned it back on and it drove fine. i have researched this and realized this has been happening to thousands of people who own 2016 fusions and yet there is no recall. i am terrified of driving it. it seems to be the throttle body that needs complete replacement but at expense of the owner despite thousands of cases. how can this be? please advise.
This vehicle is at 48800 miles and i started to receive the following warnings/errors on my dashboard when the problems began: "hill hold assist not available", "service advancetrack", abs fault and airbag failure sign lights remain while i was driving the car. after these warnings i lost power steering assist and pulled over and restarted the car. however the warning signs did not clear and i lost abs, traction control and airbags. i have contacted with a ford dealer to diagnose the problem. error codes they got from the car were c0031 and u0401. the first one is related to a short wire in the abs wheel speed sensor at the driver side front wheel and this part was replaced at the dealer. however, after replacement all the mentioned warnings/errors remain and u0401 code remained. dealer does not know whether these are just from communication error from the computer or these parts are actually defective. i am not able to use the car right now. in any case, all of the affected systems are not related with drivers driving habits, storage conditions and other things related to the usage of the car and seems like a manufacturing problem, even if it is a communication error or wiring problem. and the affected components are vital so if there is a production error, this should be resolved as soon as possible.
Upon entering an intersection,the signal light was green and my car was stuck by a car that ran the red light. my car was hit on the front passenger side and then the other car slammed into my car again.
Air bags did not deploy in my accident. front end damage doing about 27 mph into a side of a mini-van going about 35-40 right through a yield sign. the driver in the mini-van disregarded the yield sign in a residential neighborhood posted 25 mph and he was doing at least 35-40. i had the right-away and was doing about 27 when i slammed on the breaks at the very last second. his air-bags did deploy is his vehicle and mine did not. i would please like my vehicle checked out to make sure everything is working properly.
Upon deployment the airbag cover spilt down the middle and did not fully deploy during impact with another vehicle. this occurred on the highway, i was cut off and the other vehicle came to a full hard stop in front of me, despite applying maximum breaking force, i had no distance to stop and rear ended the other vehicle.

Takata recall i was informed of the recall of the airbags on my vehicle, by letter, july, 2016. since that time, i have contacted my local dealership for a replacement part, to no avail. there are no parts that have been made to replace the defective ones in my vehicle, and the company, as you know, is bankrupt. this is my only vehicle, and i am a single, disabled, low income (social security disability) woman, who has her 18 year old son living with me, and he also relies on this vehicle for rides to and from class of a week, as he does not have his own vehicle nor a license as of yet. needless to say, it makes me and my son, both, very anxious to ride in this vehicle with the awareness that it could kill us if someone hit us or the airbags deployed due to this fault of the manufacturer parts. what can be done to ensure our safety? thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
2016 ford fusion with approximately 7,000 miles. driving car on highway at approximately 70-80 mph and suddenly airbag light, wrench light and check engine light simultaneously appear on dashboard. the throttle becomes completely non fuctioning and vehicle loses ability to accealerate and starts shaking. must pull over to turn car off and restart for to resume normal functioning. happened minimum 6 times in the course of 200 mile trip.
Abs lights, traction control lights, throttle body control lights, air bag lights, emergency break lights, rear right break lights all come on my dash, it is at random times, first starting the car up, driving it for 2 minutes or even up to 10-12 minutes. speed, weather or making a turn or just going straight does not matter. warning lights can go off every day multiple times or as lttle as once a week. you can feel the streeting get very tight, its hard to even make a turn which is not very safe. had my vehilce in the shop for 25 days straight. was told the issues were fixed and withint 7 hours of picking my car up all the same lights came on.
