My wife was driving our 2015 ford fusion when the driver's door came open and would not close. i have seen this problem on other ford fusions which were recalled. we called the dealer and was told our vin is not included in the recall.?? it is having the same problem as the recalled vehicles. very unsafe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dash board is warping causing defroster vents to not properly clear the windshield. dash board is rubbing on the windshield creating a distracting squeaking noise when driving. dash board is also sunken up and down across the windshield line.

I noticed my floor was wet in the back seat at first i thought it was just from getting my kids in and out in the rain but after i cleaned it up i noticed a day later it was wet again and i didnt have my kids in the car and it was raining. the next day i opened my trunk lid and felt the carpeting and it was soaked so i pulled the liner out and i seen standing water in my wheel well i vacuumed the water and to find my leak i pulled down my back seats and closed the trunk lid and i got phone to record it i had my wife spray the rear end of my car with the water hose and i can see water pouring in and that's when i found the leak was coming from broken factory welds in the top part of my trunk . i took my car to the local dealer where i was called a liar cause the man there did not believe what i said cause he didn't see it on his computer and i have video evidence.

Left rear door of a 2015 fusion,( 21,000 miles) swung open while making a right turn from one city street to another city street. fortunately no one was sitting in rear seat by that door. the door would not stay closed. car was taken to dealer and door latch had to be replaced. it is to be determined if the extended warranty will cover the cost of repairs. from online search it appears this is a serious recurring problem with ford vehicles

Refer to recall 18s20. the auto ran into the garage due to this problem much damage to car and garage.this happened as i was approaching in the driveway.please advisemy next step.

I was driving my car at the day time and i wanted to avoid a deer crossing the road, the car steering wheel locked up and could not turned the wheel. consequently, the car hits a tree and got totally damage. when the car hits the tree, the airbags deployed but did not stay inflated, but instead deployed deflated.i was seriously injuried and got transported to the trauma center in atlanta for examination. the reason i am reporting this complain is that my car ford fusion 2015 is on recall by ford company. on may 22/2018, i took the car to the ford dealership located in the city i live to fixed the problem. the same day the company called me that the problem is fixed and the car needs to be pick up. what i did. my accident happened on the third day after the work. so, i did not know if the real problem is fixed. if yes, why the steering wheel is locked and i couldn,t control the car? before the accident, i often avoid deers on the raod and nothing happened. why the accident happened at this time? after the accident, the police came and the rescue team came to the place and they will made the reports to the insurance company for claims. but i have to do this to the official department to investigate the problem and to take the appropriate action against ford company. this will save other citizen live on the road. thanksto be to the god that i am alive. i got minor injuries on my arms but feel pains in some parts of my body. the doctor prescribed some pain killers tha i am using now. the exam did not show any internal problem but i have to be monitorized for eventual issues. i am a student i could not go to school at this moment. this issue is serious and need to be taken seriously. the car could not be fixed and run. my insurance will do the rest but i am very concerned about the the amount of the bills that gonna come out. so, please, officials, i need your help. tha

Front left (driver) door opened while in motion, door will not latch. this previously has occurred with the rear left door and was repaired by dealership at my cost.

On my commute to work, the passenger door flew up by itself. no one was in the vehicle with me thank god and also it was a single lane road. i pulled over immediately, realized that my latch was not latching and it seems to be broken. tied the door together with my belt and drove to the nearest gas station.bought some tension bands to hold the door from flying open. when i called ford about my issue, they advise there was nothing they can do because my warrently expired and there is no recall on my vehicle. i showed and explained to the rep that there are other ford fusions with similar issues. she ran my vin and told me that i was not eligiable and that i would have to come out of pocket $535.....called ther customer service number, the rep told me that she will file my claim and i will receive an email letting me know if ford will fix it or not. that never happened and it's been two weeks going on 3 i have been riding round with my door tied up until i can come up with the funds to fix it.

Recently, while traveling from chicago, il to las vegas nevada, i experienced mechanical issues with my 2015 ford fusion. the car broke down in las vegas, nevada, where i took it to a local repair shop, due to the closeness of the where it broke down. the repair shop stated that they would need a few days to diagnose the vehicle. unfortunately, i had no more days to stay in vegas, as i needed to return home. thus, i flew back to chicago, and left my car in las vegas, nevada in the care of the repair shop for testing and diagnosis and repair. the repair shop called and stated that my car needed a new transmission. this befuddled me, as my car was just barely two years old and has low mileage. upon doing some research, i found that ford fusions from 2013-2016 have known mechanical issues with the transmission and many have already been recalled. i called the ford corporate office after the repair shop advised that the transmission needed replacing. i was advised to have the vehicle towed to a ford dealership. i had the car towed to friendly ford, where i am waiting for the diagnosis to be completed. however, i was already advised that if in fact the transmission needs to be replaced, it would be take approximately 4-6 weeks to be completed. this presents a tremendous inconvenience to me, as i am in chicago and my vehicle is 1800 miles away from me, essentially useless to my day to day activities which include school, work, doctors' appointment etc. i am a full-time student, and work full time. unfortunately, recently i have become very ill and have had to catch rides to my various doctors' appointments. getting around has been significantly challenging with no vehicle. i believe that ford knew that there were transmission failures on and failed to recall all of them to save money, and avoid expensive repair costs on poorly

Driver side passenger door handle broke and the latch to lock the door to the frame does not hold unless manually pushing the latch on the door itself down to enable the latch to catch and hold the bar on the frame. otherwise, the door is not secured to the frame. the door handle has been sticking for a few days and on sunday may 21, 2017 i tried to open the driver side passenger door and the handle pulled away from the door and would not open. i had to open the said door from the inside. i tried pushing the handle back in and it would not push in. it is dangerous and afraid the door may open during vehicle operation.

Was rear ended turning off mountain highway by an f350 and a van hit the truck that hit me, he was going at least 50 miles an hour when he hit me felt like he shoved me so hard i was airborne!!! no airbag went off which the officer who was on a witness to the accident and then stopped and made sure everyone was ok !! my body still hurts !!
