I was leaving school and put my car in reverse, a chime came on and a message was shown saying power steering assist fault. i put it back in park and turned it off and back on again and drove straight home. this just happened and by reading the comments i am terrified to drive my car anymore, even to the shop. i do not make enough money to pay for the maintenance. this is definitely a safety hazard and needs to be addressed right away. this sounds to me like it needs to be a recall!!! if it happens while i'm driving i could be liable to hit something or someone else and my car be damaged. i feel a recall is very necessary! *tr

I was driving in the fast lane and my 2011 fusion went into "limp mode" by the grace of god i was able to get across the freeway and down the off ramp to a safe place. i was unaware of what "limp mode" was at the time so i had it towed to the dealer and within a few hours i was notified that it needed a new throttle body. i had just got my car back it had been in at the dealer getting the entire ac system replaced and now this. the worst part is i was informed that the throttle body is on back order and it'll hopefully be in sometime next month. although the dealership is doing their best to take care of us, making sure my rental is covered and all i'm still concerned. i had my 2 year old with me, this could have ended very bad. i think i want to trade my car in, i mean i love it and all but in the last month i've replaced the battery, the entire ac system and now this...i've only got 29k miles on it. *js
This car was purchased on june 27,2011. on december 3, the on board navigation system was used for the first time. if i was aware of the road interstate 84 that i was traveling, if i had not know interstate 84 the on board system would have had me make a turn where there was none. after a return to the dealer, a call to ford and a call to the manufacture of the system that ford is installing all three insist it is up to date. this defect is going to lead to fatality if someone does follow the on board navigation system. the system also could not find the address of my destination. i checked with the establishment that i was going to and they said that their address was changed five years ago. there i believe that the system that ford is selling is many years out of date. *tr
