My cd player stopped working without any warning. i took my car to the dealer on 1/31/12 to see what was the problem. i waited all day and finally got a phone call saying that the cd player was being replaced. i asked what the problem was and my question was ignored and again i was told it was being replaced but the new cd player wouldn't be in until the next day. i returned there again today because i got an error message on my sirius radion saying "fault". i called sirius radio and they said that ford needed to replace the satellite module. by the time i reached the dealership it was working again but just as i was about to pull off, it had the error message again "fault". they gave me a loaner and i guess they will call me tomorrow with an update. *tr
2010 ford fusion purchased in december 2010 continues to have the hood released when driving. the vehicle has been taken back to pauli ford many times since i owned the car.....without success in fixing the problem, i have informed pauli ford/st. johns michigan and also ford motor co. of the problem and that my concern is that while driving an accident may occur. the last date the hood opened is below but the problem has continued since the vehicle was owned. *tr
My vehicle came with the standard cloth floor mats, but my dealer "threw in" the factory rubber ones from another fusion free of charge. i've had my vehicle a little over a year now and twice i have had a sticking accelerator pedal. the floor mat creeps forward and will sometimes catch the accelerator pedal just right and keep the pedal at whatever throttle setting it was last at. this has never caused any real problems for me, but i feel that it is important that ford mo co be made aware of this and either encourage dealers to not exchange the floor mats, or to install some sort of holding mechanism to keep the rubber mats from interfering with the accelerator pedal. *tr
I have a 2010 ford fusion i bought it brand new in july 2010, already i have had to replace the radiator it was not covered under the manufac warranty. there is slots in the grill of the car pretty big they told me a rock must of went thru there when i was driving and made the hole in the radiator my insurance had to pay and i paid my 300 deductible . for a couple weeks prior to that i heard a gurgling sound under the dash board. good thing i went to the dealer the day i did because the heat was blowing cold air. my radiator was bone dry and the noise under the dash was real loud at this point . well anyway i went to pick the car up and they said it was fixed but i heard the gurgling sound still under the dash {near the glove comp} i don't know what they did{the guy tried to tell me it was normal at first until he heard the noise himself} well anyway he brought it back into the service dept quirk chevrolet in quincy mass and they fixed the problem. but what i am getting at is i think there is a huge defect in the slats in the grill that it would allow anything in to hurt the radiator i have owned many cars in my life and this has never happened to me before. also the door handle is falling off already on the drivers] inside] door. *tr
2010 ford fusion hybrid. floor mat as installed at dealer jammed against accelerator. driver was able to stop the vehicle and correct the problem by unstacking deep weather floor mats from regular floor mat. *tr
2010 ford fusion sel. customer writes in regards to continued transmission problems.*smd the consumer stated the transmission would slip harshly and hesitate on acceleration. the recall repair did not correct the transmission problems. it was determined that the valve body and solenoid body were defective. also, one of the tires was leaking air, there was an issue with the traction and brakes. there were noises coming from the front of the vehicle. the steering wheel would not lock into place, the cd player did not work at times, the driver side visor did not stay in place, the gas over flow tube was inoperative, the vehicle would pull hard when the brake was applied. the rear driver's side door had to be slammed extremely hard, in order to close it. the driver's side seat belt was backwards. the passenger side windshield wiper dragged on the windshield and the vehicle would sometimes surge on its own. each time the consumer went to the dealer about certain problems, she was told no problems were found.
At times i am unable to read any information in the instrument cluster area. instruments are covered by a dark plastic and when the sun shines in the area of the instruments, you can not see them. my concern is the speed i am traveling. *tw
