Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2007 ford fusion. the contact inquired about the tk holdings postal letter. the vin was included in nhtsa campaign number: 16v384000 (air bags); however, the contact never received a recall notification. the local dealer (duval ford, 1616 cassat ave, jacksonville,fl, 32210) was made aware of the bulge around the air bag compartment a year ago, but stated that there was no failure and to look out for recalls, if the issue persisted. in september of 2017, the vehicle was taken to the same dealer for other repairs and the contact was informed that the air bag warning indicator was illuminated. the vehicle was not serviced or repaired for the air bag issue. the manufacturer was not contacted. the failure mileage was approximately 80,000. vin tool confirms parts not available.

My driver's side door handle broke making it impossible to exit the car in the case of an emergency. also, the junction box needed to be replaced. while driving, my car turn signal would not work and stayed on as a solid light versus turn signal causing my battery to die and could have potentially created an accident since the turn signal was not working properly. even when the car was off and the keys were out, the light stayed on. both of these are serious safety hazards! there should be a recall on both issues!

I was going on a trip to visit family and missouri from wi and my 2007 ford fusion lost all power. the wrench light came on and check engine light came on. i had the codes read and stated that it was a throttle body issue. any time i use the curse control on long trips this happens.

While i was driving my vehicle the steering wheel of the car started to shake from side to side and when i went to slow down the vehicle to pull over to see what was the problem, the shaking of the steering wheel increased and i lost control causing the vehicle to go into the ditch. the dealer inspected the vehicle and replaced a tire valve. it had an air leakage but not the consequences of the failure. *jb
