Takata recall. there has been untimely delay in rectifying the defective passenger airbag. this has diminished my full use of the vehicle to an unacceptable degree.
Takata recall. this recall has been in effect for more than a year, with no remedy yet available. this is not acceptable nor appropriate. having a passenger vehicle in which it is unsafe for the front passenger seat occupied is ridiculous and not consistent with the intended use of the vehicle.
Takata recall - failure to timely remedy despite being in a high humidity area of houston, texas and the car being a 2010
As i was driving to the store the power steering service light came on and the service advance trac and it become hard to steer.. so now its parked because dealership said it would cost $1500 to fix which i don't have .. after research most models just 2011 and up have this recall. i think 2010 should also be a recall their are several complaints about it
Takata recall- i am concerned that this recall is taking so long and everytime we drive our vehicle we are in harms way. i do not understand how it could take such a long time to make this repair.

Takata recall this "joke" has gone on far too long. until parts actually become available, how about having the dealer simply remove the defective inflator and let us rely on the 3-point seat belt???!!! it would be tons better than having to suffer with only 3/4 of a car and having to put my mobility challenged wife in the back seat. this is just plane wrong and stupid!!!!

Currently there is recall on the passager airbad. i inqured at the dealer for a loaner car untill my car is fixed. such offer was denied. i was told that there has been only one issue witha ford mustang. one is too many. also i was told that the highway safety department gave insturctions that the vehicle can be driven untill the airbag issue is taken care of. i am not sure if this is corrent. in any case, this is wrong, even if there was only one death. i purchased the vehicle from ford, and i was told that it was a safe car, now 5 years down the road i find out that it is not. your help with this matter is very much appreciated.

Takata recall. i have a letter from ford advising of a passenger side airbag recall for my vehicle from july 2016. there has been no communication since. calls to ford have been unproductive at resolving the problem.
Takata recall - i received my first letter about this dated july 2016 which stated the passenger frontal airbag inflator may rupture in the event of a crash necessitating airbag deployment. i have received a second letter dated december 2017 which states "do not let anyone sit in the first row passenger seat". this letter was received just after i returned home from a long trip with a front seat passenger. why was i not warned not to have front seat passengers for 18 months? i have contacted my dealership repeatedly who say parts are unavailable and i have called the ford customer relationship center who told me parts may be available in the spring of 2018 but would not commit to a definite month. i believe i am in zone a which is a higher priority area - california. why is this taking so long? not to allow a front seat passenger is very inconvenient.

Ford has yet to notify that parts are ready for the airbag recall. letter dated 2016 july 16? what do i have to do? drive it until it explodes . a year should be more than enough to get replacement parts.
Takata recall. i received the recall notice in july 2016 and i am still waiting on the replacement part. i have not been able to drive my vehicle safely with a passenger since.
This recall goes back to 2016 at least. ford has sent letters in 2016, 2017 and 2018 warning about this recall and they will notify me when parts are available. how long can ford postpone a safety recall? appears ford is waiting for this issue to expire or the car to be scrapped.
The takata recall has rendered my front passenger side seat unusable for fear of my passengers being impacted by shrapnel spraying out of what should have been a reliable safety feature. nearly four months since the issue was discovered there has been no further communication from ford about a fix. i can't help but feel the safety ratings for these cars are a joke if air bags that behave more like fragmentation grenades are not considered a top priority.
Takata recall. received "safety recall notice 16s26/nhtsa16v-384 warning ruptured inflator could cause "death." yet ford dealer has no parts and ford says no idea when parts will arrive and that "car is safe to drive". have large family and cannot use car because of this. no loaners available.

Takata recall -- we have been unable to get ford to complete necessary recall repairs. we received a letter dated july 2016 stating that the passenger side air bag was defective and that they would contact us when parts were available. we have checked several times since and have not been able to get the air bag replaced.

I have called and stopped by ford dealerships in dallas and rockwall, texas over a period of years and been told they do not have the replacement airbags and that i will be called when they arrive. i have not received any calls and get the same reply every time i ask. i am afraid to allow passengers in my car due to the risk, which has severely impacted my ability to use my car normally.
