Transmission module was going 60 car when to 30 mph, car can go in rev was informed by dealer. car wont start on cold or warm days not battery, clicks after trying to start and turn off.

Transmission shuddering and vibrating upon acceleration. vehicle shakes violently at most starts and done stops. vehicle also does these things most of the time : jerking hesitation while changing gears, premature internal wear, delays in downshifting and, in some cases, sudden or delayed acceleration. vehicle actually slipped out of gear yesterday into another parked vehicle. enough is enough. took to dealership they told me it's the way i drive it. had mechanic drive it around parking lot w me and told me there's no problem w it!!
I have a 2016 ford focus and had nothing but problems with it since day one i've had the car at dealership several times for the wipers first they said can't find anything wrong next they said they adjusted the wipers then they said they changed the motor . it still stops in my view whenever it rains i told them it's still happening and i was told to change the wipers. i'm no i should not have to with a new car. one morning i get into the car and had frost on the inside of my windshield i turned the defrost on and watch my windshield crack brought to ford and they said something hit it like a rock i explained what happened but wouldn't acknowledge that there was a defect i told them that if the windshield had a solid seal i would not get frost on the inside they brushed me off. and now my car doesn't start right away and i called customer service and all they said was nothing they can do about it. i'm so frustrated with this car since day one no one at ford will help me. there are other problems like the interior lights keep going out . i'm so tired of wasting my time bringing the car to the dealership being made to feel like an idiot. ford says they pride themselves on customer service but i yet to see it as every time they treat me like i'm making things up. i want my car in safe driving condition. is that to much to ask for!!!!it shouldn't be but that's how for makes me feel..,i showed videos of windshield wipers also but i'm crazy
Automatic transmission sometimes misses gears or slips into neutral while accelerating. so far it has always found a gear eventually, but causes a temporary slowdown that may eventually cause an accident. ford says there is no issue or the clutch pack needs to be replaced . this is a dangerous design flaw ford is aware of.
While driving, my car all of a sudden stopped in the middle of turning, my foot was on the gas pedal and it wouldn't move. after a few attempts to get it going, it finally took off and started to make a grinding noise and shaking once it got above 25 mph. i've been to scared to drive it ever since.

My vehicle makes a grinding sound like tge floor is going to fall out , my gas tell me im 50 miles untill empty and i run out also when i turn my car makes a like a screch sound and also shakes at the same time. my car is getting do hot its melting thr plastic and tire covers to where its rubbing on my tires. my vehicle does not want to catch spped seems like it wants to die.
May 30 2019 my car cut off from driving in the of the middle of the highway call road side told i'm stuck in middle of the highway can't move, they'll be a hour, tow directly to the dealer where i brought it and get car service they found its the clutch had it fix already maybe a year ago, i purchase premium care warranty ask to a safe vehicle until they can fix my that it was on back ordered two weeks give back my not fix told me it's safe drive i feel is unfair. also there's a lawsuit about problems with ford.
Purchased vehicle in aug 2018. vehicle has stall on me 4 times since i had it also, went to the ford homestead dealer for recall issues but car seem to still stall. ended up taking the vehicle on 05/17/19 for an oil change and diagnostic due to the check engine came on and vehicle was taken to pep boys and was there all weekend. now i thought the repair was fixed and the was returned to me on 05/19/19 which the check engine light came back on. so now the care continue to stall.
Canister purge valve, engine stall recall. i have been having this issue since i recieved the car febuary 2017. the issues was when i would step on the gas to drive, it would stall slowly the speed from its original speed and can feel a pull and push from the car trying to speed up even when i step on the gas pedal; the car moves slow, its like its trying to go up a hill with effort but tireless when its not even going up a hill. its makes a loud clank noise when it tries to speed up. it doesnt feel smooth when driving. i had call the manufacturer ford since january 2019. they ask for my date of birth to supposely look for me in the system and make me wait for 12 minutes, then they hang up the call. i made an appointment at ford january 2019, they canceled it the day before. i recalled ford july 2019, they hang up on me again.
On november 4, 2018.i was stopped to make a left-hand turn, i had both my hands on the steering-wheel,i looked left and then i looked right,i pushed down on the gas pedal with my right foot.the car started to go,then it jerked back, and then it died down to nothing and coasted out onto the main road. the car got hit it was a (total loss). on december 7,2018 i called up to tell ford about the accident,and they said the car was under recall (recall-18s32), a male representative said someone would call me back in 15 days ,but no-one ever did. on december 27,2018 i was reading on the internet about the recall, i read something that seemed odd about the recall , it is listed where it says remedies, it says(ford provided the general reimbursement plan for the cost of remedies paid for by vechicle owners prior to notification of a safety recall in february 2017) why does it say this? on december 27,2018 i called ford and asked what does it mean, and the customer service representative said that she did not know. is this a 2017 recall or a 2018 recall?
On 10/27/2018 approximately 1330 after making a right turn onto 29 in warrenton headed towards culpeper going about 45mph the car sputtered and stalled. took 3 times to get the vehicle restarted. then did it again after making a left onto 17 in bealeton. the vehicle would get up to about 20 mph and just stall in traffic. this is becoming a major safety issue especially having my 12 year old in the vehicle with me.
On october 11, 2018 the same day as hurricane michel, my 2016 ford focus st was involved in a single car accident where the vehicle cut off while in motion and lost complete control by itself, causing the car to flip on its side and be completely totaled. the cause of the crash was unknown at the time, but on october 25, 2018 ford puts out a recall for the exact model ford focus because of an issue causing the car to randomly stall. they are telling owners to keep their fuel tank above half full to avoid this problem and i know at the time my fuel tank was not above half and the indicator lights were on. i believe the cause of this crash was from the recall that ford put out only a few days after the accident totaling my 2016 ford focus st.
I bought 2016 ford focus, total 55,000 miles on it now 2018 and nothing but trouble in the first 6 months and there after , always in the garage for drive train 2 years now, straps on roof fell off twice , trunk out of line,new tires bought at 26,000 miles . wire harness totally shut down car in 2017 while doing 65 on the highway , could not steer the car or stop it , brakes went to the floor car total shut down and this year 2018 the steering froze up at 55,000 miles, could not steer the car,, car runs like crap has power then no power, don't dare to pull out in traffic unless i have a long free space to get in, cause it hesitates, back up camera wont shut off till i have gone 100 feet forward , 2018 phone system keeps failing, new brakes, twice i almost got killed, cause i could not stop or steer the car on the highway i am so done with ford and this car.. performance is the worst i have ever seen in a car,, i could go to the garage every week cause the performance is so bad, done done done, if i had gotten killed in this car the two worst times it failed, my family would have sued ford and as far as i am concerned they should have taken the car back, would have been alot less head aches than a death law suit
When it's driving up a hill it's makes a sound where as the speed stays the same and do want increase. i believe it's the clutch is scraping when it runs. when driving same level does the same but sometimes unexpected.
Second time in only two years that the clutches have gone bad. they cause extreme studdering to the vehicle upon acceleration. it has caused some extremely close calls where cars think i am moving forward but the car shudders preventing forward motion for a few seconds.
Radiator shutter stay closed and car overheats
Windshield wipers stick in line of site safety hazard when driving. has been in shop multiple times and still continues to be unsafe to drive.
When i drive my "brand new" 2016 ford focus that only has 11k miles on it, the transmission slips, stalls, and shutters. it's a road hazard because when i accelerate the car doesn't have power to accelerate with up coming traffic on the road, especially the highway. not only does this cause a hazard for me and people on the highway, but it's also an embarrassing ordeal to deal with. i have went to the ford dealership i have bought the car through 5 times! ford refuses to fix the problem even though they have the ability to do so, i don't know what to do and i feel very stuck.
Wiper blades stopping in line of sight during rain and snow conditions car has been taken to dealer multiple times and not being fixed. has replaced windshield and motors and still occurring. video showing problem not being taken seriously and tired of ricart not fixing
I have a 2016 ford focus that i bought brand new in september of 2016. i have always had transmission problems with it. in the last month this will be the 3rd time my car has gone to ford to be fixed. my car will randomly not start and a few hours later turn on. it will also throw false codes. after the first visit to ford they rebuilt the transmission and replaced the battery and told me it would no longer be an issue. yet, only three weeks later i am back to ford because my car started shaking and died while i was backing down a hill. i had to have ford come tow it when i brought it into them they refused to do anything and sent me home with it. and now not even 2 weeks later it is already dying again and my transmission still needs to be rebuilt. my rpms randomly fly up and the car shakes and feels like its getting no power to it. yet no check engine light so they won't do anything. and the electrical in it keeps going out and my back up camera only works 5% of the time. this isn't acceptable i have a 1 year old have barely had the car a year and have 30,000 miles on it. and they won't fix it
Just filled my gas tank up then as i left the gas station got about 1 mile up the road then while sitting at a stoplight i turned the ac on and idle dipped, car felt like it was going to die(which it did) then as i tried to re-start, cel came on and car would not start. about 2 more times and it fired up along with a service engine soon message ... luckily for me i was a block away from future ford lincoln where i originally purchased the vehicle. 3 days later i got a call saying my vehicle was ready for pick up. i get there and they tell me that the reason was due to i had a aftermarket power wire routed over engine assembly causing electrical interference. so they disconnected what i payed a local professional audio shop $140 to install 2 days after i got the car. so, long story short, i get in the vehicle only to see that my fill up @ the gas station was gone... they used [xxx] near 3/4 of my tank of gas put over 100 miles on my car and i get 2 blocks away from the dealer and at the same light..... **** happens again!!!! took it right back to the dealer. just got my car back after 13 days in the shop and i couldn't be more pissed! 4th time i have gone to pick it up after hearing that they fixed the problem only to get in the car, drive it, and have it happen yet another time! they even tried to tell me it was my right front axle causing the problem this time around. ( i just had the left front axle replaced 2 months back at another dealer) throwing grease on a crank sensor causing my cel with dtc "p0106, p0236, p0340, p0344,p0365, p051b, p0532, p06a7, p08a9, p08b9" ...bla bla bla... they don't know what the problem is but they keep wanting to tell me they found the problem! what a waist of both our time. now the car is in my driveway, wont start, throwing about 8 to 12 codes and im waiting to hear from ford customer care. parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
Vehicle stalls every time i accelerate from a stop. it's almost as if it stutters or drags and then finally takes off. this happens every time i drive.
I've had my 2016 ford focus se 4-door for one year. it has almost 50,000 miles. i've had to have the clutch replaced once, and many other things, and the local ford dealership said it's ready for another clutch soon. it's an automatic but grinds when changing gears. also, the car is getting 15 miles per hour city and highway driving. the car is supposed to be a economy car/flex fuel. it's not, it's a lemon.
Car was driving fine in motion on a city street. all of a sudden it wouldn't accelerate properly. accelerator was push to the floor, rpm's went up to 6,000, car was jerky. at 6,000 rpm the car wouldn't go faster than 40 miles per hour. speed limit was 50. there was no warning and no dash indicator lights came on. this has happened 2 times on this vehicle, once in october 2016 and once on april 1, 2017. after the first incident, i had the car towed to a dealer. they stated it was a computer problem and reprogramed my car. in between the two incidents, i received a letter from ford motor company dated february 2017. they acknowledged that the car "may exhibit symptoms of intermittent loss of transmission engagement while driving, no-start, or lack of power, usually accompanied by an illuminated service engine soon on the instrument cluster." the letter authorizes replacement of the transmission control module, but it is the opinion of the dealer and ford motor co. that they have to see the problem in action for them to replace it. i believe this is a serious and dangerous problem and has a high probability of causing an accident. car is currently at the dealer. i am not confident that they will fix the problem.
I purchased the vehicle feb 23, 2017 with 137 miles on it. drove it off the lot within a month of having the car it starting making a weird noise kind of like a clanking noise in the front engine area, contacted the dealership they stated this was normal noises for a 2016 ford focus. the noises continued to get louder took it back this time they said it was the clutch downshifting(mind you it makes the noise before the car even has a chance to even get to a speed high enough to shift so how is it downshifting?) it also is having issues with the remote start you start it with the remote start it shuts off, start it again shuts off again, start it for the 3rd time it starts you go to unlock the car to get in and the car shuts off again ( not normal and it was installed from the factory not aftermarket) now the car has been hesitating to shift as well as lunging when it does shift and when we bring it to the dealerships service department they tell us this is all normal and they have a bulletin from ford stating that it is "normal " for this year vehicle.
I have been noticing for the past 4 months that my car has little to know pick up accelerating, specially up a hill. it seems to be bogging or shuttering. i recently received a recall notice for the transmission and the 2016 and i am wondering if this is the problem that is affecting my car.
When i first bought the car it started making noise when i drove it i took it in they said they fixed the problems it was still under warranty. after a couple of weeks it started making the same noises so when i had time a couple of months later i took it in again and they told me it was the transmission and that my warranty was not active anymore. it made the same noises the first time i took it in and they never said it was the transmission it was a wheel problem. i'm asking for help on what to do thanks.

Vehicle seems to hesitate when stepping on gas
Takata recall when i take off my car jerks and almost jumps like. it acts like its double shifting or having a hard time shifting. i had ford look at it and they said they couldnt help me until it gets worse. i will be really upset if something goes after my warranty is gone. a brand new car shouldnt drive like this.they told me its the clutching system that causes it to do this . that is what they told me at ford ,but eont replace until it gets worse.
While driving on highway 95 approximately 65 miles per hour southbound i heard a loud explosion, i did not feel any impact on the automobile but began to hear rattling on the top of the roof. when i pulled over, i saw that sunroof had shattered and exploded. the sunroof cover on the inside of the vehicle was closed and had not been opened. no object hit the sunroof, it just exploded. i have pictures. no other damage to the vehicle anywhere.
