Takata recall i am submitting a complaint regarding my brake system. when i apply my foot on brakes there is no pressure, brakes go all the way to the ground; as if i am not going to stop. i have to pump or press hard on brakes. my brake light on dashboard never came on, indicating a problem with brakes. this just suddenly happened on my way to work (10/26/2017). i had brakes change on 10/31/2017 and still car would not stop. i had to brake hard, this happened as i was leaving the parking lot, driveway. each incident occurred while i was driving and need to slow down to brake for a stop sign or light signal.
Went to stop hit the brake peddle and the car did not slow down, i pumped the brakes then hit them again still the car did not slow down, i impacted the rear of a truck, a fire started under hood in front of the driver's side at the windshield area, the steering wheel air bag didn't deploy nor did the seat belt lock, causing me to hit the steering wheel with my chest. car was traveling aprox. 35 mph.

On september 30, 2014 , driving on residential road at 40 mph , with no prior warning all vehicle console lights lid up and dash console showed an error "immobilizer failure". steering and brakes began to worsen making the vehicle inoperable.this while crossing a busy intersection in which thankfully the light was turned in my favor .this was very scary and could have lead to a tragic event . fortunately i did not panic and was able to use vehicle momentum to drive into a plaza driveway . at this moment i feel that this vehicle is dangerous and should not be on the road. i strongly urge that there be an investigation opened immediately . your attention to this matter is with great urgency. regards *tr
