Every time gas is fill (and vehicle is off), once done pumping gas, the vehicle will not want to start right away, it will turn off while driving. this only occurs literately after pumping gas. 1/30/20 was the last time it was filled with gasoline. but every week gas is pumped it always happens. this started when mileage was about 20,000.00 i believe, i immediately called and was informed to call a toll. i also spoke to the salesperson and informed him. i was informed then to change gas type. also been taking the vehicle for same place (ford) for oil changes, all the sudden there is an oil leak as well. unsure how, when exactly it happened. it'f very minor, but interesting being that the vehicle is not that old. on another note just to inform, the suspension or something like that needed to be completely replace due to being factory defected. at the time, vehicle was still under warranty. for both issues.
Becoming ill physically while driving from 'something either inside the passenger section of the car, or coming from the exhaust system? had the exhaust system checked 2x, was told by both muffler shop and dealer tech that nothing was seen wrong during their checks. had co blood testing done at the ed, none detected. don't know what else is wrong-car passed obd emissions, via obd port, however- the problem seems to have started the same day of this testing. no tailpipe or under the hood parts touched. so far, debating disposal of this car, if after another check by mechanic yields no explanatory diagnosis.
Replacing ignition switch on 2015 ford fiesta 23 jan 2020 and was notified by the ford service manager at fairway ford in evans, ga, that the steering wheel locking system was not installed on vehicle. this also did not lock gear shifter. we are now having to have it installed and paying to have it installed. lucky the vehicle was not in any accidents.
Car remains stuttering idiling high then low atemps to shut off from time to time, i have taking vehicle to get checked at local ford dealer only when check engine light comes on and says tcm failure or mal function, they repair the part if it's available but now car still does the same thing only difference no oncheck engine light comes on now all repair has to come out of my pocket because they say no check engine light displayed sonrhwy have to guess whatbitnis. this is a known problem from this model vehicle even had a class action lawsuits which i didn't partake in and ford just won't recall this stupid vehicle. i trusted ford and financed this car for what it eventually will get us hurt or even killed.
The vehicle is straining to pick back up speed once it comes to a stop or slows down. there also seems to be a clicking sound coming from the transmission on the driver side. it seems to have trouble switching over the years because it's a dual transmission i'm suspecting something's wrong with the clutch there seems to be a shutter.
I hit/ran over a pothole earlier this month and experienced several occurances of excessive brake travel or soft brakes immediately after when attempting to stop the car, on a city street. in august 2019, i ran over the edge of a manhole cover in a city street, that was paved in all around , except for this edge corner that was lower than the rest of the paving. that instance began the 'soft brake' experiences. i took to the ford dealer service dept. the same week, was told that the actual brakes needed replacement. i observed the same thing happening again, the next wk. brought the car back to the service dept.. this time, it was thought by the service advisor, that the tires needed replacement. 3 new tires were purchased , i had purchased a. week before, so i kept that one, having the mechanic place this new one on the right rear wheel. i thought that after bringing my car in 2x for the same problem that the soft brake condition was resolved. all was good, from aug 2019 until i ran over the pothole early dec 2019, with the repeat soft brake incident. ...
My car likes to decelerate when my foot is on the gas. sometimes it will stop while i am driving it on the road i have repeatedly taken it in to the dealership where i purchased my vehicle. they keep saying nothing is wrong. i know for a fact that a car should never stop unless your foot is on the brake. also my check engine light is always on and the dealership where i purchased my car has turned it off for me and it will just turn back on.
The issue in question involves the door latch mechanism. there was previously a recall issued for ford fiesta vehicles manufactured between 2012 and 2014. my vehicle is a 2014 model and the vehicle was stationary at the time of the incident. this recall was put into effect either in 2014 or 2015 when the issue became prominent and pronounced. this is the first incident and/or issue that i have experienced with this vehicle. the driver side rear door just decided not to latch two days ago when i arrived at work after retrieving items from the back seat. i took the vehicle to my local dealership this morning to see if it could be rectified as well as find out if any active recalls were presently unrepaired. it was determined that there are no active recalls for the door latch system, however it is feasible and recommended that another recall be issued in light of my recent door latch issue.
Vehicle caught on fire underneath engine area, unsure why as of now but do have fire report. bought vehicle saturday and by monday it was on fire.oil was spilling out of bottom.
I just bought a 2012 ford fiesta from a dealership back in august. i searched the website, once the issue came to surface, and it is part of a recall. the recall is the exact issue that started on my car last night. the door doesn't close at all/the latch doesn't work. i have been paying monthy payments on this car and now i need some information on how to get my car fixed.
