Ford f-150 2014 had an electrical issue that caused it to go up in flames as i was driving it down the highway at about 60 miles an hour. i first smelled a burning odor, then i looked in my review mirror and saw smoke, then i started seeing flames in the back passenger corner of my back seats. by this time the truck was very smoky but i was able to safely pull aside to the shoulder of the highway. i made an attempt to open my driver's door, but it wouldn't open and i then broke the glass to open the door from inside out. as i exited my vehicle and walked around the back of the truck i grabbed a towel out the bed of the truck and got on the ground to try and stop the flames at that time i could see a wire burning between the bed and the passenger cab of the truck as it made loud popping noises, then the truck just burst into flames. i called 911 and they called the fire department , they came out on the scene and put the fire out.

Trying to retrieve something that had fallen under or beside the front drivers seat. feeling aroung i sliced one of my fingers on my right hand after reaching only about 2-4" under the seat. i then inspected under both front seats and found knife sharp raw metal areas under both front seats, more under the drivers seat than the passanger seat. does not appear to be unusual but just a normal happening in the construction process, which causes me much more concern. these areas are not hard to reach and could cause a very serious cut to anyone searching for lost items or a child searching for a lost toy.

Passenger airbag wire harness too short. when back of seat was moved forward wires broke. ford dealer tried to say it was operator error, but infact there was no slack on wires to move with seat. *tr

The rear passenger seats do not lock in place when in the lowered position. the owners manual clearly states that they must lock when lowered to be safe. *tr
