On a 2002 ford f-150 harley davidson edition truck, the # 2 spark plug was ejected from the engine while driving 65 mph, causing my vehicle to slow down, and the gasoline and exhaust fumes were filing the drivers compartment. this is the second truck i have owned previous a (2003 same vehicle model) where the sparkplug has been ejected from the engine while driving. why is there no recall or study on this problem from ford?? engine still had original plugs from factory!! their torque specs!! *tr
My problem is with my ford 2002 triton engine, the spark plugs blow out which is dangerous because they can cause the gas vapors to catch fire and start surrounding areas of the motor , i have had this happen twice now and it is very costly, there should be recall done on this problem, i know of several other owners that have had the same problems, this is an accident waiting to happen, im sure others have had worse problems then myself with these types of engines, please help us by calling for ford to recall this obvious problem. thank you. *tr
