Vehicle experiencing intermittent loss of brakes, when applied at a low speed of 25 mph or less, and then reengaged. dealer notified, and informed that was the way system was designed to operate. *ak brakes failure resulting in accident. *yh
Calipers and rotors are wearing out the brakes. rotors are overheating. calipers and rotors have been replaced 3 times. every 9000 miles. please provide any further information.*ak
All four brakes wear out within 3000 miles. brakes have been replaced on 5 different occasions under warranty. dealer requested buyback from manufacturer but was denied.*ak
Intermittently brakes will not stop vehicle. braking system has been replaced to remedy problems. twice in a 3- month period rotors have been changed. ford agreed there was a problem with abs system, and was trying to accommodate consumer.*ak
Consumer was traveling about 15mph on side street and there was snow on ground, he went to apply brakes, and brakes locked up. vehicle skidded, and hit a guardrail. consumer wasn't injured, and ford was notified. *ak
On going problem with the vehicle vibrating. the consumer stated after disengaging the emergency brakes on several occasions and then proceeded to drive for 10 miles or more, the vehicle vibrated when the brakes applied. the vehicle had some repairs made on the three occasions at the dealer but the problem continued. please provide any further information. *ak *mr
