We have classified the 2 complaints from 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac about TIRES into the following categories.
1) improper alignment specifications 2) destruction of all 4 goodyear tires 3) ford denied to replace tires although there is a technical service bulletin (05-11-11) pertaining to this issue. *jb
Goodyear wrangler rt/s tires have 1 to 3 inch splits approx. 1 inch from the rim, i have this on all 4 tires. they are on a ford explorer sport trac 2003. *nm
While driving 50 mph driver hear a loud knocking noise coming from the rear. suddenly, the vehicle vibrated uncontrollably. driver pulled over, and noticed that the rear left tire blew out. driver will contact the dealer in the near future. *ak
