We have classified the 242 complaints from 2011 Ford Escape about VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL into the following categories.
As i was driving, my vehicle with no warning lost power. the engine was still running, but roughly. i could press the accelerator, but it no longer caused the vehicle to accelerate. after waiting for help to arrive, i cut the vehicle off and then tried to restart. the vehicle started fine. i took it to a mechanic who thought the throttle box may be gunked up. i paid to have it cleaned out and for a gas additive to decrease the likelihood that it would happen again. a couple of days later, my escape stalled again in the same way and with the same results. it has happened 3 times now since may 2nd. i realize there is an investigation into the failure of the throttle body in ford escapes including the 2011 model. what is described in the throttle body failure situations is exactly what i am experiencing with my vehicle. i have been fortunate to be in curb lanes and able to maneuver safely off the road each of the times this has happened. if i happen to be in a center highway lane when it happens, i may not be fortunate enough to have an opportunity to restart my vehicle safely. *tr
My daughter was driving the car in florida going approximately 45 mph. the red light with a wrench came on and the car would not accelerate. she finally got pulled over to the side of the highway and called the dealership in orlando. they told her it could be a throttle body problem or it could just be trying to reset. they suggested she turn everything off (which she already had) and restart in a few minutes. she restarted and everything seemed fine. about a week later, the same thing happened, only worse, and she took the car in to the dealership. it seemed to happen as she was turning a corner. she had to restart the car 3 or 4 times on the way to the dealership. they ran a diagnostic test and said the throttle body needed to be replaced. so far, it's been a week and it is still not fixed because they cannot find the part. she has had to rent a car until the escape is fixed. another expense! evidently, 45,000 of these throttle bodies have been replaced and they are using the parts up as fast as they can make them. how safe can this be???!!! we plan to have it repaired, but we should not have to pay for this ford problem. *tr
The first of 4 incidents occurred while driving on the belt parkway in brooklyn ny. i was driving at a speed of 65 mph in the left lane on a stretch of highway with no shoulder on the left side of the road when i lost all pedal power. i wasn't able to accelerate. the engine was running and all the electronics were working properly except for not being able to accelerate. the small icon of a wrench appeared on the dash. i managed to cross three lanes of heavy traffic to the right shoulder. i put the vehicle in park and stepped on the accelerator to rev the engine, nothing happened. it seemed like there was no gas getting to the engine. i then shut down the engine and checked the owners manual for the icon of the wrench. the description of the wrench icon states that a throttle control/powertrain fault has been detected and i should contact an authorized dealer as soon as possible. upon contacting the dealer he indicated that they have been having a problem with the throttle body on my make and model and also stated that my warranty had expired and there was no recall issued for this problem. the cost was my responsibility. i proceeded to have them order me a new throttle body. the lead time would be 2-3 weeks for the new part. during that time the same problem has happened 3 more times, 2 of which were at a speed of 65 mph and 1 time starting off from a red light at a speed of less that 10 mph. after researching this problem on line i have found this to be a major issue and a recall for the throttle body should be issued and repairs made by ford at no cost to the owners. i feel that i was put in a very dangerous life threatening position. *tr
Driving on the interstate at the speed of 60 mph, the car started jerking and the acceleration was going down even though my pressure on the gas hadn't changed. the check engine light and the service light came on. i pulled over, turned off the engine and let it sit for 10 mins then started it up and drove home. i took it to the dealership the next day and they did a diagnostic test; nothing failed, they told me to keep driving it and if it happened again to drive it straight to them. it happened again less then 2 months later this time on a sun. driving on the interstate at 60 again, the car started jerking and the acceleration went down. same lights came on. i pulled over, turned off the engine and let it sit for 10 mins then started it up and drove for a bit. happened back to back 3 more times trying to get as close to home as possible. after the 3rd time i believed the risk was too high to continue driving. called for roadside assistance and had it towed to dealership. they tested and found out it had a bad throttle. it was told the part is on back order because several people were experiencing this problem. the foreseen wait is 12 days to a month. *tr
On 27 april 2013 at approximately 0930, i was driving my 2011 ford escape at 70mph on i-475 on my way from macon, ga to atlanta, ga when i lost all power and control of my gas pedal/throttle body system. i felt a jerking motion of the vehicle, it began to decelerate, and i noticed the wrench icon light was illuminated on the dash. i did not lose power to the rest of my vehicle, only the ability of the gas pedal to accelerate. i was able to coast across a lane of traffic and come to a stop on the side of the interstate. after turning off the car, i was able to restart it, the warning light turned off, and i once again had power to the gas pedal. after driving approximately 10 more miles, the exact same problem happened again. i was then able to get my vehicle to the ford dealership, who told me i had a faulty throttle body assembly. they said the throttle was sticking in the closed position and had to be replaced. with so many vehicles having this same problem, i feel this is a major safety concern. i am extremely lucky the interstate was not busy at the time my vehicle stalled twice and my family was not seriously injured or killed from a rear-end collison. *tr
Repeated stalling of vehicle while in the flow of traffic at highways speeds. no shoulder to pull off on. car has to be completely stopped and restarted to drive again. first visit to dealership they told us the cost to replace the throttle body. the car is less than 3 years old and barely out of warranty. they told us we could continue to drive the vehicle while the part is on order. they don't expect to have the parts for another 6 weeks! in the meantime, the car continues to have repeated problems and would just stop and jerk suddenly upon acceleration and the engine would stop functioning. we had the car towed to a different ford dealer and are waiting on them to complete a diagnostic evaluation. scared for our lives! surely a recall will reimburse us for repairs, towing and rent car. what a nightmare!! *tr
I was traveling on the highway at 70 mph when the vehicle suddenly just began slowing down. the wrench warning light came on but did not make a noise to indicate a problem. the gas pedal would not work. i was able to safely veer off to the shoulder because, luckily, i was in the slow lane. *tr
Vehicle purchased january 2013 with ~37k miles. first month of ownership, i had code indicating a fuel delivery problem but it cleared on its own. i attributed it to bad gas, though it may have been the warning sign i missed. today on the highway at approximately 60mph, it felt like the vehicle shifted out of sequence, noticing the lack of power/low rpms i tried to give it gas to no avail. i safely navigated to the shoulder as it coasted down to a stop. the orange wrench lit up. upon stopping the car sputtered hard and threatened to stall. the gas pedal was useless. i shut the car off, shut off the radio/ac and gave it a moment. it restarted with minor hesitation. the orange wrench had cleared but the check engine light came in (it stayed in through the remainder of this post). it idled ok, allowed me to administer fuel and rev the engine. thinking the problem had passed, i merged back onto the highway and came up to speed. about a half a mile later i felt the noted loss of engine power (i believe this is the "limp-home" method that is cited in some things i have read today). again, my gas pedal is useless and i re-engage the hazards and move off of the road. this time the car does not stall but idles around 900rpm with some sputtering. gas pedal is still useless. i rinse and repeat the above process a third time, when it does the same thing another half mile later, i give up and call a more car savoy friend. his first guess is also fuel pump/something clogged but we are both baffled because the symptoms are not consistent with any condition we have ever encountered. deciding it could be nursed home, the fourth attempt at starting it, i made the last 2 miles staying 40mph or below. there was no sputtering/loss of fuel delivery capabilities during this attempt. after some research, it sounds like the common throttle body issues found me... *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact was driving approximately 2 mph when the vehicle unexpectedly lunged forward as the contact was braking to a complete stop. in addition, the wrench warning symbol illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who detected that the throttle body actuator was faulty. the contact planned to take the vehicle to the manufacturer for the repair. the manufacturer was not notified of the malfunction. the approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
At approx. 19,800 miles was driving along the interstate and the escape started losing power. i went from running 75 mph to 40 mph. the escape now has approx. 33,000 miles and is a total nightmare. as of april 28, 2013 it has been in the shop for a total of 46 days and has had 8 repair attempts. no warning lights nor the check engine light has ever come on. this escape clunks, surges, loses power, cut's off and at times will not even crank. the transmissions has been reprogrammed, the throttle body and motor asy - throttle body air intake has been replaced, the vapor management valve has been replaced, the torque convertor has been replaced. lost in arbitration with the bbb because ford said in their last repair attempt that the vehicle has operating as normal. june 5, 2013 car was back in shop because at 7:45 am stopped at a red light, while my foot was on the brake the rpm's surged up to 4000, could hardly keep it from running the light, once the light changed took off and within 4 tenths of a mile lost power and shut off. it took me 8 minutes to get it to crank, drove about 15 miles, surging all the way, and the car died again, taking me 10 minutes to get it to crank. took the car back to the shop, they kept it for 7 days, returned it and said they could not duplicate problem. june 20, 2013 tried to crank the car at 10:00 am, it would crank, but go dead, finally at 11:10 am it stayed cranked, drove at 3 tenths of a mile, car goes dead. takes me 5 minutes to re-crank went straight to the shop. this car is dangerous and ford needs to re-call.
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated that while driving 70 mph, the vehicle began to decelerate independently and would not accelerate beyond 5 mph. the vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the throttle body would need to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the failure and current mileage was 32,000.
When slowing down at about 20-25 mph, car jerks like transmission is trying to slip from 2nd to 1st gear. has been like this for over two years. most readings on 'net suggests software issues but not many owners have found satisfaction with the updates and appear to have to pay for them..
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated that while attempting to accelerate from a stop, the vehicle would not respond to acceleration attempts. the wrench warning symbol was illuminated and the engine was turned off by the contact. after restarting, the vehicle resumed normally until the failure recurred four additional times. the vehicle was neither diagnosed nor repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 37,000.
We were just pulling out onto the highway when the car lost all power. it jerked forward and then stopped. we were stopped on the highway and could not get the car to forward. i turned the car off waited a few minutes and then tried again. the car again jerked forward went a short distance and then shut down again, on the highway. luckily we were only a mile or so from the dealership where we bought the car. we turned the car off and started it 5 times and were able to get the mile to the dealership. when this first happened, a wrench appeared on the dash, signaling a powertrain issue and to get to the dealership as soon as possible. after the car was looked at by the mechanic at the dealership it was determined that it was a defective throttle body and would cost $400 to repair. according to the dealership, this is a major issue for ford, and i don't understand why something so serious that it can cause a serious accident or death is not being recalled. i guess ford doesn't want the cost to repair their defective parts and obviously does not care about the safety of its customers or the lawsuit that will follow. for this reason, i have notified all of my family and friends not to buy another ford. i would hope that the nhtsa would be concerned about the safety of our citizens and make a recall mandatory, not give in to the mighty ford company and their lack of concern. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated that while driving approximately 5 mph, the vehicle suddenly lost acceleration power. the vehicle was coasted to the side of the road. upon restarting, the vehicle resumed as normal. the failure recurred three times. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. the technician was unable to duplicate the failure. the manufacturer was notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 28,520. ...updated 03/27/13 *bf updated 3/28/13 *cn the consumer stated while on his way to the dealer, the vehicle went into a lurching motion four times. traffic was light at the time, so he was able to coast to the side of the road. three were recorded on the black box, which reached its capacity. the last one, caused the wrench light to illuminate and it remained on. the dealer replaced the throttle body. as of 03/22/13, the vehicle was performing as designed. the consumer stated he entered a four lane divided road with little traffic coming toward him. as he entered the first westbound lane, the vehicle went into a lurching motion, slowing down his forward movement with traffic coming closer to the drivers side of the vehicle. the vehicle then went into neutral mode and he was bale to coast into the left turn lane, continue through the traffic light controlled intersection and coast to the side of the intersecting roadway. he noticed the tax showed 2,000 rpm. he cycled the key and the engine started and operated normally.

This vehicle is driven by my son while he is at college. the vehicle has had approximately 8 instances in the past 6-9 months (7 of those in the past month during a one week time period) in which the vehicle has lost a significant amount of power and speed which has required him to pull off the highway for his safety. once off the highway, he turned the vehicle off and then turned the vehicle back on which cleared the problem. at the time of these issues, the vehicle had approximately 38,000 miles and was 2 1/4 years old. he subsequently took the vehicle in for service, several days after the week in which he had 7 separate incidents, and the ford dealer replaced the throttle body. there appears to be a significant body of knowledge that indicates ford has a problem with the throttle body on late-model escapes. ford should, at a minimum, acknowledge this safety concern, and also make repairs at no cost to the consumer, to mitigate this problem. *tr
There have been several different occasions where my car will not accelerate during cold weather months. january 4, 2013 was when i nearly got into an accident because of it. one morning when i was on my way to work, i pulled out onto a main road and my car's acceleration drastically slowed down (to about 5-10 mph on a 40mph road). the vehicle behind me almost slammed right into me because my brake lights were not on (and why would they be? i had my foot on the gas petal trying to make it go!) the fact that ford doesn't acknowledge this problem is scary! i am honestly concerned that one day this will cause me to get into a serious accident. *tr
While pulling onto highway onramp the vehicle began to jerk violently and suddenly shut down and would not accelerate. it was a busy traffic time and the sudden deceleration of my vehicle caused others to have to suddenly brake to avoid a collision. pulled vehicle to side of the road and shut it off. restarted and the problem seemed to be fixed. began driving vehicle to dealer with hazard lights and problem occurred about 4 more times. dealer replaced throttle body assembly, which fixed the problem. it was a scary incident as we were just seconds away from joining heavy traffic on the interstate. *tr
2011 ford escape was being driven @ 55 mph in traffic & it suddenly lost power. orange wrench appeared, motor running rough. steered to emergency lane. turned off ignition, waited, re-started. i went on to my meeting the to the ford dealership near where i work. they said to drive it there (if possible) next time without cutting off the engine. two days later (local dealership closed) while driving 55 mph, rainy night, county road, no "emergency lane", was able to get pulled over (not always an option on a country road). daughter was with me - frightened her. turned it off, restarted. next day (saturday) i took it to local ford dealer. said need the light on, but would see if the diagnostics told anything. borrowed car from my daughter. this was inconvenience to me and her. dealer called monday, said it clears the code each time the car is re-started. they kept my vehicle overnight. did it again with the mechanic driving. he drove it at about 10-15 mph to the dealership. i got online and there are many issues involving throttles. many recalls, but not on my model. on tuesday afternoon diagnostics showed it was the throttle. this is a safety related defect & it should be immediately recalled. i drive about 60 miles a day on the interstate & i need my vehicle to be dependable. if a semi truck came up behind me it could have caused a wreck, or even loss of life. i love my escape & have been a loyal ford customer. sometimes you just have to admit there's a problem & make things right. ford should resolve this once and for all. i picked it up last night & am driving it today. i will be in fear of it happening every time i drive this vehicle. my vehicle has low mileage, is maintained regularly. this should not have happened, nor should i have to pay repairs. i would like a refund on the repair costs. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated that while driving approximately 40 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the contact merged to the shoulder and restarted the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where a technician advised that the throttle body assembly would need to be replaced. the vehicle did not have a diagnostic test performed. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact that the vehicle was not included in any recalls. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 45,500 and the current mileage was 47,000. updated 01/09/13*lj
While driving in the left hand lane on a busy, busy dallas highway at 60+ mph, the engine failed. i managed to pull over -- across 3 lanes of oncoming traffic -- without getting hit from behind, while being honked at along the way, and managed to pull over on a small shoulder. i turned the car off and restarted it. the next two weeks, it did the same thing a few more times, but i was driving in the far right lane so it was less precarious. i took it into the dealership, where they diagnosed a throttle body failure. my vehicle has 46,000 miles only on it. my understanding is that this is an ongoing problem with fords but they will not recall and fix the problem. someone is going to be killed. *tr
While i was driving the engine stalled down so pulled off the road engine was still running but running rough and no throttle response i shut the engine off then started it back up and everything was fine so drove off. later that same day it did it again. next day brought to ford dealership and they had it for a week trying to get it to do the same thing for them but never did so i picked it back up and was a couple miles away and it stalled on me again brought it back to the dealership they kept it over night again and next day told me it stalled on them and said i need a new throttle body but was on back order. so here i am almost three months later and still no part and today nov. 11 2013 i had the engine stall on me 8 times. *tr
I was setting at an intersection pulling out in to oncoming traffic and vehicle died. this has happened on numerous occasions in the past year. at times when i try to stop it feels as though the vehicle is still pulling with foot completely clear of accelerator. *tr
I was driving on the interstate at 70mph when my car seemed to just completely lose power. i had to coast to the side of the road, put the car in park, turn it off and restart it. the incident happened exactly the same a couple other times. also happen once when in the middle of the city. i was at a busy intersection and the car lost power in the middle of the intersection. i was not able to go anywhere until i turned off the car and restarted it. i was nearly t-boned at 5 months pregnant. dealer was having a hard time figuring out what was wrong but finally figured out that it was something wrong with the drive train which caused the engine to stall. *tr
While traveling 80mph on the interstate, my 2011 ford escape with 27000 miles suddenly lost power as a wrench indicator light came on the dashboard. the gas pedal would not accelerate to pull onto shoulder or to move around traffic. all fuel acceleration was lost. as i finally coasted to the shoulder, narrowly avoiding being the cause of multiple accidents, the vehicle starting shaking. i turned the car off, waited a few minutes, and turned the car back on. the wrench indicator light (powertrain indication) remained off and the vehicle acted normal. there was not an indication before or after the incident of any faulty systems or parts. the vehicle did this without any reason, leaving me in a dangerous situation. the vehicle has been properly maintained and running without any problems since i purchased the vehicle until this incident. i fear it may happen again without reason and place my life and those of my passengers in harms' way. *tr
Small surges just after stops. total loss of power at highway speeds. july 2012 showed the check engine light, and had to coast to side of the road, gas pedal totally dead, engine and car still running. turn off and restart and all check engine lights go away and car acts normally. dealership found no codes. june 2013 again total loss of power at highway speeds, this time powertrain light comes on, and the car has to coast to the side of the road, gas pedal totally dead, engine and car still running. turn off and restart and all powertrain lights go away and car acts normally. this loss of power has happened 15-20 times to date from july 2012 to july 2013. *tr
Going down road, first no gas pedal control , then starts to make engine and whole vehicle pulsate. starting to get worse and dangerous, about 3 to4 times a trip. dealer has told us the part is on backorder ,meanwhile trying to deal with it. *tr

Engine will start head down the road and all the sudden will lose pick up ,push on the gas and nothing happens then all the sudden it will speed up ,including this one that i have estimated the date and mileage ford replaced the throttle body under warranty.....the second time this happened was on 02sep12 mileage was 39619 it did the same thing but left me on the side of the road and had to be towed(90$) to repair ,ford found the throttle body unable to maintain idle cost me almost 400$ to repair ,that leads us up to today where i was going down the highway at about 60 miles an hour and all the sudden it cut out and had to cost out of heavy traffic after about 2-3 min the truck picked up and ran fine till i got home and called ford and asked them what i need to do cause its doing the same thing it had the previous times.was instructed to get it to a service dept to have it checked,on the way to ford during heavy traffic the car stalled in an intersection and thankfully the other driver was paying attention he was able to stop their could have def been a fatal injury if not but as i was told by ford that i would also have to pay for this throttle body because it was out of warranty due to mileage 04jun13 58053 miles. *tr
When approaching a stop throttle opened to maximum. the only way to stop was put vehicle in neutral. this has happened 5 other times since. when i took the car to ford they said that since it was an intermittant problem and no one else has reported it they would no do any repairs.
I was about two blocks from home, driving the suv and slowed down to turn the corner, when i tried to hit the gas to accelerate, the car wouldn't accelerate past 5mph. a few lights came on the dashboard and i was able to drive it home. when i restarted it, it worked fine. i had the car towed to the dealership, which said they couldn't duplicate the problem. i had only owned the car for 6 months at the time. *tr
Last year i purchased a 2011 ford escape and have been completely dissatisfied with my purchase. the selling dealer, tower ford in great neck, new york has done absolutely nothing to help me rectify my serious complaint and concerns with my vehicle. one of my biggest concerns is that the transmission slips, the accelerator pedal sticks, the brakes are very low, and a swishing liquid noise is heard in the fuel tank when stopping, the right side rear passenger door squeaks, and the center console is loose. i've brought my truck back to this dealer many times and all i receive is that they can not verify my complaint and concerns. i am concerned for my family and my safety. any help would be appreciated. *js
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated the vehicle stalled several times without warning. the dealer replaced the throttle body which corrected the failure. the air conditioning system recently failed and would blow hot air. the dealer inspected the vehicle and was unable to locate the cause of failure. the air conditioning system was not repaired. the failure mileage was 18,000 and the current mileage was 30,000.
I pulled into a parking space next to the building where i work and the vehicle surged forward and hit the brick wall, broke a window and dented the building ac unit. damage to my vehicle hood, bumper and grille. cost to repair $4282.75. *tr september 25,2012 i took it to the ford dealer where it was purchased because it continues to surg forward on a daily basis. they were unable to find anything wrong with the vehicle.
Periodically the vehicle seems to lose power or hesitated then accelerate, i've never had it stall out. although it happened a few times early on this problem has been more frequent lately. i have also noticed that when accelerating, for example on an incline, the vehicles takes several minutes to shift into gear. the vehicle idles very rough, it has been since i bought it but has gotten worse recently. i've mentioned it to the technician when i've taken it in for service and was told this is normal for a four cylinder. i've had many cars over the years 4 cyl and 6 cyl and i've never had this happen. i've read some of the other complaints with the same description as what my vehicle is doing. *tr
Shortly after purchasing the escape the engine seemed to quit when making a turn. turning off the key and restarting the engine worked. nothing for months and then it happened again. my wife thought the engine was quitting so i asked the dealer if they were aware of similar issues. all servicing was performed at ford until the warranty was out. never a mention of any problems from the dealer.the engine continued to have intermittent issues and one day it happened when i was driving. i determined the engine was not quitting but would drop to about 1000 rpm with no throttle response. if you kept the transmission in drive the vehicle would decelerate quickly and sometimes would not allow moving to a safe location. restarting the engine twice always resets the problem and it randomly happens at a later date. it is very intermittent and always happens without warning. it's getting worse with age. *tr
I was driving on a mayor highway a 65/70 mph when the vehicle lost power, was not able to accelerate, coasted to the side, an orange wrench sign and check engine sign appear on the dash, after turning vehicle on and off several times it went back to normal, this happened several times over the last year and a half, the first time dealer claimed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and charged me $ 74.95 for a" throttle body service" ( thank you hemborg ford - norco, california ) took vehicle back to dealer a year later 7-23 2013 and was informed that the etb (electronic throttle body ) needed to be replaced ( same part that i paid $74.95 to have it "cleaned" before) now this vehicle misfire and jerks on take off from a dead stop. i call ford, but was told that there is not an service call or recall for this particular vehicle. *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated that the vehicle would unexpectedly surge forward or backward while idling without a foot on the accelerator pedal. on one occasion, the vehicle surged backward and crashed into another vehicle. the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop where they were unable to diagnose the failure. the failure mileage was 50 and the current mileage was 200. the vin was unknown. i have took the car to the dealer 3 times for this problem. twice they said the have reset the computer throttle but still has the same problem. updated 11/10/2011 *ln *tr
Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated that while driving 10 mph, the vehicle jerked and then accelerated rapidly. the contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer a few months later because the transmissions warning light had illuminated. the dealer stated that the throttle body needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 2,000. the vin was unavailable.
After stopping and upon acceleration the engine completely shuts down and the car stalls. after putting the car in park and restarting the car, it runs okay. this has happened to me 4 times over a 23 month period. each time i have taken the vehicle to the dealership. the first two times i was told the car was still breaking in and it must be due to the gas i was using. the third time, they replaced the throttle body. to my knowledge the "wrench" light only came on once. they said they had a number of vehicles that this had happened with and replacing the throttle body helped. three weeks after they replaced the throttle body, it happened again! this time only the engine light came on. ford says they need a code to try to fix the problem. the dealership told me that there was one other person, who has the same make and model as mine that this is happening too. this person also had the throttle body replaced. the fact that no code is tripped is a problem in itself! please help! i do not want anyone to be killed because of this problem. *tr
