Every time i ask for, recalls look up by vin it goes to a screen that says, internet explorer cannot display the web page. i am trying to find out if there is a recall on my vehicle for the airbags, i have a 2010 ford escape. *tr

Throttle body failure, making my 2010 ford escape inoperable. it shuts down completely on the highway. i lost power on the interstate while in traffic. this happened 3 times and i've had to rent a car while i wait for the throttle body part which is on back order. *tr

2010 ford escape back hatch and window fail to open. this is a keyless window and hatch. ford dealership wants to charge 380.00 to repair. ford does not have a manual or secondary system to open the back hatch and/or window. this fail has rendered the back portion of the escape useless. in an emergency, a secondary manual opening device from the interior and exterior needs to be retro-fitted, after market by ford. the dealership where we purchased the vehicle, has no interest in resolving this obvious engineering blunder. *tr

I got a flat tire on the rear right side of a rented 2010 ford escape. the enclosed jack is unable to raise the vehicle high enough to allow removal of the flat tire and installation of the spare tire. this was the case even after i placed the jack on a 2 inch board to prop it up. i was fortunate to be within phone contact of a aaa service station so that the tires could be exchanged using a large professional jack. this could have been a serious issue on a country road in the middle of the winter. *tr
