A few weeks ago my 2010 ford edge started making a loud rattling noise when driving at low speeds. i brought my car in and was told i have a bad driveshaft. my mechanic called ford dealer and was told they have over 160 driveshaft parts on back order and won't have any available for over a month. if there is so many problems with the driveshafts on 2010 why hasn't there been a recall on. maybe this should be looked into.

March19, 2017 while driving 20 mph from our neighborhood to church with my wife, there was a loud clunking from front passenger side. we turned onto the main road and as speed increased to 55 mph, the windshield cracked and i noticed the hood of car was raised up about an inch above the fender. we immediately turned around and drove slowly back to the house. the attached photos show what had happened. there is considerable damage to the sheet metal body components, windshield, plastic parts. there are many similar examples of the strut tower spot weld failure reported on the internet. all seem to be on the passenger side.

I buy my ford edge last year in 2016 at 3205 north highway 61 in muscatine, ia, i recently got a important legal notice that's why i'm doing this inspection.

Bought 2010 only 24000 miles on car, tires are dry rotted, the tires are 2008 confirmed by discount tire. how are 2008 tires on a 2010 new car. at risk for accident due to all 4 rotted. cost to replace $800.00. 2nd is the tie-rods rusted out per ford dealership. this car is ony 5 years all with low milage, there should not be problems at this stage car is lemon

Rear wheel bearing failure.

Started noticing a vibration in steering at slow speeds when pulling into or out of parking spaces. took to the dealer for repair at 34,000 miles a few weeks later and dealer at first could not duplicate the issue, then with my help identified it as a power steering pump and replaced. the next day, say issue and they then stated it was a normal characteristic of car model. warranty has since expired and has gotten significantly worse and mileage is currently 49k as i am a sales rep and log a lot of miles. i also began getting a loud popping noise in the front from both sides at about 38k miles, predominantly left side, especially when making low speed turns and/or going over small bumps, like when entering or leaving a parking lot. i have not taken it to the dealer for inspection but have had a local midas check for an issue twice with nothing found, but issue is also getting much worse. *tr
