I own a 2005 ford f-150. on one occasion, the driver's side window unexpectedly dropped into the door when the vehicle was in motion. on another occasion, the passenger side window unexpectedly dropped into the door while the vehicle was in motion. both of these events could have had serious ramifications. both times the vehicle had to be taken to the ford dealership for repairs of the motor assemblies. these events were brought to the attention of the ford customer service division and both times my concerns were not addressed to my satisfaction. based on research that i have conducted via the internet, this appears to be a very serious problem with many 2005 ford f150 owners and it is not being addressed by ford. *cn
