Recently reported ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING problems on 2004 Ford E-150

My 5.4 liter has terrible throttle response at low speeds. the motor has a long lag time, from the time you press the gas pedal until the motor revs and the truck takes off. i have been in a couple of close calls or near misses due to this. if in an emergency operation you need to step on the gas and get out of the way of another vehicle, it has slow throttle response and is dangerous. the dealer seems to have no real fix. *la
