After 3 days sitting on my driveway, this morning i went to start the car and noticed a warning on the screen "power steering assist fault". i tried to back out to the street, but the power steering remained un-maneuverable. online search found out there had been a lot of reports for the very same issue on focus, c-max, and fusion. it appears this is a known issue not unique to my car.
After traveling about 3,000 miles towing our 2014 coax energi without any problems we had come to a stop and where making a left turn as we finished the left turn as the cars tires started to come back to center the tires began shaking back and forth violently and only stops after you come to a stop. this only happens when being towed behind an rv. i have found a couple of posts in the internet of people having the same problem with the ford coax energi. ford has no answer for this. the cars manual states that it is towable behind a motorhome and it was for the first 3,000 miles then the dreaded death wobble started. my best guess is that something happened to the suspension after the 3,ooo miles but so far ford can find nothing wrong.
