While filling up my gas tank the fuel spilled everywhere and when i checked it out the fuel neck line (filler) broke away from the frame of the car. i cannot find a replacement and chrysler has these items on back order i understand. i am wondering if their is a recall. i have a 1999 dodge stratus. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 1999 dodge stratus. the contact stated that the vehicle caught fire while parked and was caused by the fuel pressure pump underneath the hood. the fire and police departments extinguished the fire. the vehicle was destroyed and a police report was filed. the failure occurred before he received a recall notice. the vehicle is currently at the junk yard. the nhtsa recall number was unknown. the current and failure mileages were 68,000.
