I received a recall for my truck that had something to do with the air conditioning/heating. when i took my truck in to have the recall fixed, it was already not working. there is a knocking up under the dashboard, air/heat only comes out vents in dash and defrost, it will not blow out of other vents such as floor, etc.. i took my vehicle to the dealer to get the recall and problem fixed. obviously my truck was already faulty due to the recall issue. when i picked up my truck, it was still "knocking" and the air/heat was not blowing out of all vents. i told the dealership it was not fixed and he told me that they fixed only what they were supposed to and i would have to "pay" to have the problem fixed! the problem occurred "as a result" of the recall, and i feel it is there responsibility to fix it. then in july 2013, i called the same dealer to have a new recall fixed (rear axle pinion nut-nhtsa 13v-038). they did not have the part and needed to order it and told me they will call me when it arrived. today, november 5, 2013, i still have not received a call from this dealership to fix my rear axle pinion nut. i have been taken advantage of by this particular dealership over and over again. the only time i take my vehicle to this dealership is to fix recalls and they still find ways to take advantage of me. for all other needs of my truck i go elsewhere! just need some direction on the pinion nut. i would like to have it fixed before it stops working and results in a crash. in addition, i still feel that the dealership should fix the air/heat issue, due to that fact that it stopped working as a result of the defect. i do not believe it will cause a crash unless it changes and quits blowing out of the defrost vents. *tr

While normal driving the vehicle doesn't seem to idle right. at times the engine will rev a little then lets off, then back up and so on. also under normal acceleration the rpms will climb about 100 then stop going up then bump up 100 then stop again and so on until accelerator is pushed harder. during first drive in the morning vehicle will accelerate then suddenly the rpms will drop to about 1000 then a slip second later the truck will kick back in. *tr

At about 1200 miles on vehicle noticed a low squeal sound from engine or transmission. at present there is 1500 miles on vehicle and the squeal has gotten worst. the noise begins after about one or two minutes of starting, and is contumely squealing. the dealer ship ran test and said it was normal. i drove another 2009 1500 ram and the noise was not there, or in the next 1500 ram from another dealership. dealership refuses to go any further with the problem, quote: we can't figure where the noise is coming from, so it must be normal unquote. vehicle is swb. *tr
