I receive notices related to safety recall r25 but the parts are not available.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. when the contact was leaving the dealer, the seat belt failed to lock. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. in addition, the contact stated that the dealer sold the vehicle with a faulty seat belt. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 121,036.

Driver front seat belt has failed multiple times and locking when it shouldnt. now it is totally seized up and won't move.

I was going to work traveling south on a magor road going 35 mph when another vehicle cut directly in front of my path making a left hand turn onto a cross street. there was no time to brake and my vehicle slammed into him. the other driver was cited by the police with a "failure to yield" citation. my seat belt did not lock and the airbags did not deploy. upon impact my body was thrown forward and up resulting in whiplash and other injuries to my neck, shoulders and back. i hit my head on the front visor area and my chest area on the steering wheel. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. while the vehicle was parked, the contact was wearing the front driver seat belt and attempted numerous times to release the seat belt mechanism. the seat belt locking mechanism would not function which resulted to the contact in cutting the seat belt webbing to allow him to exit from the seat belt. the dealer was notified and they informed that there was not a recall. the contact mentioned a recall related to the front passenger seat belt, under the nhtsa campaign id number 06v354000. the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. the failure mileage was 125,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. while driving approximately 30-35 mph during rainy weather conditions when the vehicle hydroplaned. the contact was unable to maintain control of the vehicle and proceeded to crash into a vehicle and then slid into the median. the seat belts did not retract nor did the airbags deploy upon impact. two of the passengers suffered minor injuries. a police report was filed. the vehicle was being repaired by a local mechanic when the complaint was filed. the vin was not available. the approximate failure and current mileages were 47,000.

Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that the rear center seat belt retractor failed. she attempted to install her child safety seat in the rear of the vehicle and noticed that the center seat belt would not retract properly. the local dealer stated that there was a recall regarding a different seat belt pertaining to that year, make, and model vehicle. the contact informed the dealer that the seat belt failure was in a different location. the contact was referred to the manufacturer and she wrote a letter to them, which proved to be successful. the manufacturer stated that they had no record of her vehicle being taken to the dealer. the dealer stated that the manufacturer could assist; however, the manufacturer referred her back to the dealer. the customer service center stated that the vehicle was out of warranty and could not assist any further. the failure mileage was 49,000 and current mileage was 52,000.

I am curious to the concern that i should have about my 2006 dodge. i have had 3 recalls on my vehicle since its purchase. one for airbag issues, one for a seat belts, and the most recent one for ball bearing issues that could allow the front wheels to become loose and fall off of the vehicle. all of these are life changing events if they happen. how many recalls can one vehicle have?*ak

Dealership will not do recall work on or around my schedule. daimler/chrysler will not make dealership fix recall on or around my schedule. front passenger airbag/front passenger seat belt. *jb

Tl*- the contact has called two dealerships in his area to perform the recall repair for nhtsa campaign id number: 06v354000 (seat belt/front) on his 2006 dodge ram 1500. the first dealership (alberic dodge in san juan, pr) stated that they didn't have the parts available and that the parts would need to be ordered. the second dealership (flagship dodge in san juan, pr) stated that they would call the contact back in three weeks when they assumed the parts would arrive, but never did. *jb

Dt*: the contact stated although the vehicle displayed no previous problems, there was a nhtsa recall, #06v354000 on the vehicle regarding the seat belts, and a nhtsa recall, # 06v353000 on the vehicle regarding the airbags. the parts needed to repair the vehicle were not available at the local dealership. the manufacturer was not alerted to confirm the parts were not available.

Dt*: the contact stated that the nhtsa notices for recall #06v353000, which pertains to the air bags, and recall # 06v354000, which pertains to the seat belts were received. four service dealers were contacted, who stated that the parts were not available. the manufacturer was also notified. the contact expressed a concern that the manufacturer took 3 months to notify the customers of the recall.

I have 3 safety recalls for my 2006 dodge ram 1500. i have called union dodge in garden grove,ca, where i purchased the auto, 3 times to schedule appointments to fix the problems. each time i have been told that a part for one of the repairs is not in stock but that when the parts come in i will receive a call back. i'm still waiting for that call back? of course the letter and call i did get from union dodge was asking me to rate their service as top notch so they can get the 5 star award from chrysler!! i'm done dealing with union dodge but would still like my 3 safety recall items fixed. any advice or help is greatly appreciated. *tr

Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign numbers: 06v353000 (air bags), 06v354000 (seat belts), and 15v313000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repairs were unavailable. the contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue. the contact had not experienced a failure. parts distribution disconnect.

Dt*: the contact stated on several occasions, the rear left safety belt tightened so tightly that the passenger was choked. the vehicle was taken to a service dealer who was unable to determine the problem. the vehicle also stalled completely upon starting and removing pressure from the brake pedal but restarted after 45 minutes. the vehicle was again taken to the service dealer who was unable to duplicate the problem. the manufacturer was contacted, but did not provide any follow-up information.
