I am the original owner of a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4wd extended cab truck. the dash has almost completely disintegrated and is cracked and pieces are falling out. the structural integrity of the dash has jeopardized the safety of operation of the vehicle. it has progressively gotten worse over the past 2 years. *jb
Oil gauge malfunctioned, and went dead, not detecting low oil pressure. dealer found sludge in engine that would build up from overdue oil changes. consumer stated oil changes were done on regular basis, but not a t the dealership. please provide more information.*ak
2001 dodge ram 1500 bought new,i'm original owner ,after owning 1 year dash started cracking, i eventually called chrysler and complained, they said it was a sun problem after 3 years i called again and complained after noticing hundreds of problems with dodge dashboards all cracking they said its out of warranty well now nov 2016 it's basically coming apart all over i don' t know if anyone has been seriously injured from this.i only have 65,000 on this truck.my suggestion is to get a class action suit against this crappy company, then maybe the thousands of vehicles in question will be repaired,or give us our purchase price back
I have a 2001 dodge ram truck where the dashboard is breaking apart. this started within the first two years i had the truck. loose parts could fly off during driving causing driver to be distracted causing an accident. loose parts could fall down into dash and cause electrical or mechanical problems. *jb
