Tl* the contact owns a 2000 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, an unusual noise emitted outside of the vehicle and then suddenly the vehicle swayed off the road. the contact inspected the vehicle and noticed the lug nuts detached from the front passenger's side wheel. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where currently ten lug nuts were being replaced. the manufacturer was not notified of the defect. the approximate failure mileage was 85,000.

We put new tires on the truck 245/75 r16. the stop on the wheels is not long enough to keep the front tires from rubbing on the metal and wearing the rubber of the inside walls on the tires. *jb

Both front tires are being damaged by rubbing against something in the wheel well. i took the vehicle back to the dealer where it was supposed to be repaired. the problem was not remedied, tire damage is still occurring high on the inner sidewall of both front tires. tires are the same size that came on vehicle from factory 245 - 75/r16. *jb

It was discovered by a technician, that the left rear wheel was cracked.*jb

Lug nuts keep coming loose, have had dealership and several reputable repair shops attempt to fix the problem, i have replaced over 15 studs due to loosing lug nuts frequently, they loosen up as soon as 3 weeks after having vehicle serviced, recently, i was driving on an interstate when my front tire came off, luckily i had made it to the shoulder and caused minimum damage to vehicle- documents from tow truck/ repair shop will verify this happened and also verify that upon checking each tire for same problem, driver side rear lug nuts were only hand tight, the rear axle was just serviced 3 weeks ago- no coincidence- i was out of town when this happened, this has been going on for 6 months, so there is no question that this is vandalism/ or practical joke. *jb
