Drivers side front door handle snapped while trying to exit the vehicle. i had just purchased the vehicle (used) and asked about it being replaced and was told that it was not covered. i was told it would cost about $300 to replace (the handle was only about $70, the rest was labor). i did not feel that i should have had to pay for this expense and i did not have the "extra cash" at this time so i opted out for repair. a year later, the front passenger door handle snapped while trying to exit the vehicle. i refuse to pay for this unacceptable defect. this is a life threatening hazard and needs to be recalled. *tr
