A failed turn signal switch started an electrical fire in the chrysler vehicle. ***no answer required*** *mr the fire originated in the steering column. *sc *jb
While driving with the headlights on, the consumer noticed poor lighting. the consumer inspected the headlights and saw discoloration on the headlight lenses. *ak *sc *jb
The head light plastic lenses deteriorated and clouded to the point where they had significantly reduced the lights brightness and visibility. *ak *jb
The plastic lenses on my 1995 dodge neon's headlights, turn indicators, and fog lights have significantly deteriorated over time. the lenses have yellowed and are pitted causing a significant loss of light output. it is less safe to drive this car at night. i wrote to daimler chrysler and they denied my claim. they acknowledged that the repair is expensive but stated that the warranty had expired. i do not believe this is a warranty issue - i believe it is a safety issue.
Front headlights fogged. light output significantly reduced. *ak

Left turn signal on, all lights in back of car flash. then applied brakes, all lights were steady. take foot off brakes, all lights in back flashed again. front left signal does the same thing. *ak
Hazard lights failed causing it to be dangerous to speed (fear of further delays) to the emergency room (residence out of ambulance are, would have taken longer to call 911) , wife miscarried, which could have been prevented if arrived sooner.
Multi function switch melted/failed.
Right turn signal cancel switch broke and won't go off. consumer had the switch replaced. once and the problem occurredagain. if the consumer didn't turn the switch off, the switch would stay on the right turn. will replace defective turn signal cancel switch for $200. 00. *ak
Brakes failed and accident occurred.

Manuf issue a service bulletin stating not to attempt to repair head light for blanking, problem still exists, causing visual problem. tt
Headlight flicker while driving, dealer gave a service bulletin concerning headlight flicking saying do not attempt repairs. tt
1. car leaking oil at head gasket and other seals, possible fire hazard. other '95 neon owners have had similar problems when the car reaches 60k miles 2. left turn signal sticking in on position, 3. glue melted from around front and rear windows, afraid that windshield or rear glass may "pop" out, 4. car pulls to the left, and even though numerous attempts have been made to correct the problem. the car still steers to either a left or right direction, the steering wheel will not line up with the direction of travel. misaligned steering wheel become tiring on long trips. *ak
Brake light switch in brake pedal doesn't activate brake light it activates turn signal. tt
