I was driving my car on i95 when i noticed it was not handling well and was making a noise. i could also feel a vibration under my feet. we made an appointment at central maine motors in waterville, maine first thing tuesday morning who told me the power steering cooler was leaking. in doing research if found s08 recall on 2011-2016 dodge journeys power steering coolers. my car does have a 3.6 l engine and this should have been taken care of when i bought the vehicle. in reading the recall and given the circumstances i could have been hurt as this went while i was driving and does in fact increase the chances of crashing.
The switch on my cruise control went out on my 2015 crossroad dodge journey only 39000 miles on it
My ac will unsync itself and when i hit sync it unsync again. also if i turn it off it will turn it back on. i dont know what is going on but i see that i am not the only one. i am scared been happening for months
I put the category as "unknown" because i dont know what exactly it falls under besides stupidity. my car began over heating last week. that was frustrating on top of all of the other problems including the constant jerking from the crap abs system. i put radiator fluid in and 2 days later, it began smoking like crazy. at least, what i thought was smoke. apparently what it actually was, was the t shaped house that leads to the radiator and is run right along side the heating coil is made of plastic. the heating coil had melted a hole in it, causing the radiator fluid to spray on everything under the hood. we go and fix that, by the way, $80 for a 5 inch piece of hose is insane, and come back, car works for 2 days and dies. battery is dead. take the battery off and go replace it, get it on the car, start it, boom, starter goes out. one thing after another. i'm taking it to trade in and will never buy another dodge. there was no risk in that anyway after the dealership never wanting to honor a single warranty detail even though it ...
Car shuts off while driving at any speed. it shits off while parked or stopped at a stoplight. the car will not turn back on. sometimes it take about 30 minutes and it will restart but will only run for about 5-10 minutes. when trying to start the car, we press the brake and then the start button and the car violently jerks as it tries to start, but will not turn over. it has happened since we bought the car march 2019 but the dealership wont take the car back or trade it for something else.

While driving the air conditioning automatically comes on. i was driving to work on a residential street, decided to open the window even though it was 8:30am and it was already 95 degrees outside here in vegas. didn't get out of my complex before the air conditioner came on by itself. also with the air conditioner on, my car seems to run higher in idle and while driving it seems to double step when braking and coming to a stop. it does like a small jerk in acceleration coming to a stop.
Air conditioning comes on by itself when driving. radio volume decrease without touching it while driving. cruise control does not work when driving.

My complaint is about the dealership that i went to to get my cars recall repaired. a simple question about a recall resulted in the service man telling me there is no recall and the parts in my 2015 are from 1996 and that they can not find a recall. i was told that i would be liable for the cost of any repairs as per the fine print in my warrenty. tyson motors in joliet il is so incompitant that they couldn't fix a free recall on my car
Takata recall: when trying to adjust the climate control to "sync the passengers" and turn off the rear controls, within seconds the computer is turning the vehicle's "sync" off and turning on the rear control. as i was trying to adjust the temperature it will keep turning the controls off of sync and turn the rear controls back on. it happens whether i'm sitting i'm idle or driving, there have been no conditions that affect the way its working.
I tried to start my car and it would not start we tried to push the start button twice and put it in neutral press the brake it wouldn't start we tried pressing the button five times resetting it it wouldn't start we tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer is still wouldn't start the car was parked. it won't turn over. when looking on the internet several other people have complained about this same issue.
The navigation system in my 2015 dodge journey stopped working. it shows no map input/navigation system not on vehicle. i heard this has been happening a lot on dodge journeys. i took it in and the will have to replace the whole radio/system. i was driving when it shut down. luckily, i knew where i was going but i drive out of town a lot with my grandkids and depend on the navigation system. that is one of the main reasons i bought a vehicle with a navigation system so i won't get lost.
My 16-year-old son was driving our 2015 dodge journey to school. he began to hear a noise that sounded as if something was dragging underneath the vehicle. the driver behind him was flashing him to pull over, he began having issues controlling the vehicle fortunately he was able to pull over and as soon as he got to the stop sign the car completely died after making a loud noise and started smoking. my son jumped out of the vehicle and the driver behind him told him to get away from the vehicle as he felt it was about to catch fire by the smell. once the tow truck driver got there and try to start the vehicle to put it in neutral the car again filled up with a burning smell. he jumped out and had to call dispatch for safety reasons of transporting the vehicle. once my vehicle arrived at lonestar auto plex in cleburne texas our service man dan was amazing. he kept us informed along the way asked questions and he was provided the service records. come to find out the engine seized up. the engine, oil pump, starter, all had to be replaced. ...
