The vehicle shuts completely off while driving. no spitting or sputtering, no stalling, no error codes or lights. just shuts off with no warning. weather conditions, speed, miles drove matters
About 1 week ago my check engine light came on. the code reader said it was a p302, misfire in #2. the vehicle idles rough and sometimes stalls while driving. other 2017 grand caravans have had a recall for a very similar reason, but my vin is not included in that. i feel it should be. also the company has extend its engine warranty on cylinder heads to 10 years or 150,000 miles on 2012 caravans with same engine with the same problem. now the want $3,600 to fix what seems to be a inherent problem with that engine. not fair! 1 affected product

My car is regularly maintenanced by your dealership i also have a maintenance plan that i purchased that your dealer refused to honor. i purchased my car from dodge dealership on reisterstown road in owings mills md 21117 in march 2015 approximately less than 24 months i began having trouble with my tires and was informed by dodge that my vehicle was used and not brand new as i was expecting when i purchased it for 30,0000. less than 48 years my engine gave up and has to be built from scratch putting my car value down and leaving me and my kids stranded for the holidays and my gps stopped working completely and now i need 4 new tires again. your dealership sold me used tires and i contacted tire manufacturer and they said you need to replace tires through warranty but you refuse to do it. all you have to do is file a claim because yokohama tire manufacturer said tires should last 50-60k miles mine only last 30k i purchased new but you gave me used how does this happen on a brand new car? ...
Wireless ignition node (win) module position fails compromising the ability to start the engine with key fob. this was repaired once for 122 dollars. three months later, dealership wants 1200 to fix it. vehicle was stationary and tow truck was required.
February my husband and i financed this car and within less than one month we been experiencing one issue after another. first, the heater hose had a hole in it then after that was the radiator then after we replaced those two now we have a issue with the exhaust modifier as well a issue with the brakes today the tires locked up on us. could be related to the issues thats been reported on the newer dodge grand caravans.
While driving the 2010 dodge grand caravan it will just shut down. while trying to figure out the problem i found 2 recalls for electrical issues both having to do with the vehicle shutting down while driving. when i entered my vin it showed one that needed the ignition and fobs replaced. we took it to our local dealer tri-star of indiana and they say the recall was completed in june of 2016. i can't find any paperwork on this and it still shows up. even if it was done, it's obvious it needs done again because their replacement parts are defective just like the ones they replaced. i already informed them if anything happens to my family or me while driving this, they will be the first names on the law suit the dodge for not fixing the issue correctly the first time. this happens in town, on country roads, sitting at stop lights. the last time it happened my daughter was taking her kids to the doctor on tuesday 12/3/2019.
Vehicle electrical and engine shutdown suddenly while driving 30mph on the road. no power steering or brakes, had to pull over to the shoulder. was able to restart the car and drive normally after a few minutes. brought to dealer but no engine codes were discovered. has recurred more than once in a 2yr period. related to this electrical (tipm) problem, car often requires 3 or 4 attempts to start. will sometimes start on its own several seconds after key stopped turning.
