My van's air conditioning wasn't working so i took it into the dealer...when they gave it back i had cold air in the front but not in the back, i took it back again, they fixed the air for the front but then the fan wasn't working at all in the back vents, i took it back a 3 rd time finally it seemed fixed, since then i have lost control of using the buttons on my steering wheel, cruise control only works when it wants to, and my vehicle will turn over but has a hard time starting, they have changed out the starter messed with my wiring and changed out my battery, it still isn't fixed. now my vents in the backseats are not blowing air again, they replaced the starter, the battery and still i am having all these problems. could this have to do with a recall that hasn't been done on my vehicle? also i bought the van new and have had a few paint jobs to fix the rubbing of the side doors that cause my paint to rub off above the wheel wells, i finally gave up on having it fixed but i know this is an error on chrysler's side as i can show you atleast two more grand caravan's same year with the same rubbed off paint because of side doors. very disappointed in buying my first brand new caravan. *tr

The vehicle stall in the middle of the highway, and the water pump won't shut off and it is causing the battery to die and other issues with the car. after spending hundreds of dollars to look into the vehicle, it was determined it was the tipm. after research there are thousands of cases regarding faulty tipm's on 2007-2012 chrysler vehicles, included multiple deaths. chrysler should be responsible to issues a recall immediately to the customers affected. *tr

I would occasionally smell smoke while driving the first few times it happened i pulled over but noticed no obvious smoke coming from anywhere, this was never a consistent ongoing problem meaning i don't smell it daily. sometimes while driving at maybe 40 mph if i give it a little more gas to speed up a little it would speed up more than i thought it should. when unplugging the usb cord into the board for music i can hear a loud noise that typically is associated with electrical problems. most recently my a/c has began coming on automatically, this began last week and has happened at least 5 times so far. since the a/c issue i got online to goggle ad search for possible recalls. i placed a call with a local dodge dealer to explain the issues i'm having and ask about a recall, i was told someone would return my call but has not. this van has a ramp installed in it and is used to transport my daughter who has special needs. i need this resolved asap. *tr

The car cut off while driving, a week before i took the car to the dealer complaining about the car no starting intermittent. the dealer return the car saying no problem found. after this happens cutting off while driving, i took the car again to the dealer, this time the dealer replace the "tipm" p/n 68244893aa, i was charged $890.10, the dealer mechanic informed me that this is well known problem, for the safety of other please force chrysler to recall this "tipm" as they did to the suv's. *tr

Vehicle would not start and when it did it would run at a fast idle then it would go in to limp mode while driving on the road, leaving the vehicle with little to no power to move out of the way of traffic in the middle on an intersection when the vehicle went in to limp mode. vehicle would lose all engine power while accelerating to speed at random times (making the vehicle bogs down) making the driver and any passengers get thrown forward and then be thrown back when engine power would come back. vehicle was also giving me problems with the automatic side doors not opening and closing and the hvac system would come on by its self at random times. the dealer replaced the battery (that i had to pay for) stating that was the reason for all of the problems i was having. after getting vehicle back everything was good for a few days then went back to doing all of the same problems within a few day of getting vehicle back form dealer. took vehicle back to dealer for the 2nd time and they replaced the pcm (2nd time the pcm had been replace since purchased 12/31/2011) & throttle body (that i had to pay the deductible). vehicle was still having the same problems so i took it back to the dealer for the 3rd time within a 18 day period. the service advisor told me that i could be the tipm but they would have to see it act up before they could replace the part, dealer told me that the tipm was the cause of all the problems. the tipm was replaced (had to pay for partial of the cost) and everything was working again. i feel that even with the tipm replaced that i could still have gotten a poorly made part as a replacement. i feel at time while driving that some of the problems are starting all over again, like the sliding door not working and the hvac system turning on by its self. on 1/22/15 i had a fuel injector go bad and had to be replaced, maybe due to the tipm? *tr

The contact has noticed that the display on the backup display is very dark during the day making it very hard to see anything, sometimes nothing at all. also the contact has had problems with the passenger side window switch not functioning correctly, sometimes it works sometimes it does not. also there is a problem with the display for heating/cooling system, it will adjust itself with the temperature and fan, it will be on front and back then go to just the front with a different temperature and fan setting, it will also change settings going over bumps in the road. it does this when there is extreme temperature changes or when there is any type of moisture in the air, it will be flicker back and forth constantly not allowing for manual changes of temperature or fan. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 dodge grand caravan. the contact stated that when the ignition key was turned to the on position, the vehicle failed to start intermittently. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where the technician informed that the failure could not be duplicated. in addition, the contact stated that after the vehicle being parked overnight, there was an abnormal noise coming from under the front end. the contact inspected the vehicle and discovered that the fuel pump was operating independently. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 74,528.

The tipm (totally integrated power control module) has caused fuel pump problems so dealer overlayed the fuel pump costing 400 dollars. it has caused my blinker to interment stop working. it has caused battery failure so we have to replace the battery 150 dollars. now the driver seat will not move it's a power seat and unless we replace the tipm we will have to spend money to overlay the seat. and sometimes it don't want to start we have no way of paying for the tipm and we were told it's not a part that has been updated to replace it with a faulty part is ludacris. this is a safety issue and needs to be recalled before someone is hurt

While dodge caravan was park in front of dealership bankston ford mini van caught on fire. no one was in vehicle at the time except a pet. a page over speaker informed me that the van was on fire. by the time i reached the scene "flames" were coming up from the floor of the drivers seat. "the left hand front corner" . personnel from within the dealership ran out with fire extinguisher to put fire out. damage reported to insurance company . vehicle purchase on aug 03,2012. incident occurred on aug 22,2012 approx 1:00 that day.

Well from the time i purchased the car i told the dealer about the ignition. the car speeding off while i'm driving in a regular street or highway. the warning lights doesn't warn . enough is enough. riding in the car in street yesterday once again the steering wheel locked in me in traffic and it shut down. no warning. so dangerous. there is no way there should be so many complaints about the same issues and they not have a recall and repairs .my alternator actually fried and we could have been killed along with my children!!!! i'm scared. im paying $500.00 dollars a month for a vehicle that is sitting and i can't drive. please give hello me to get justice.

Check engine light came on in early december. dealer reset the error code and said it was probably nothing. light came back on a few days later so we brought back to the dealer - the consulted with chrysler and replaced the cam phasers and said that should fix the problem. within a couple of days the check engine light and traction control light both came on and the car lost all ability to accelerate. driving on highway at 70mph, gas pedal to the ground did nothing and car coasted to 50mph before it would lurch forward and coast back down and eventually corrected itself but lights remained on. dealer consulted with chrysler again and they replaced the cam phaser sensors and said that should fix it. within a few days same thing happened, driving on highway, check engine and traction control light turned on and car lost all acceleration and coasted down to 50mph and would lurch forward and then cost down - rpms wouldn't go above 1300rpm and couldn't get acceleration back. took car back to dealer (fortunately was only a few miles from the dealer) and they had it for 2 weeks and chrysler recommended replacing both wiring harnesses and that should fix the problem. within a week, same problem, driving on highway at 70mph - check engine and traction control light comes on, no ability to accelerate or maintain speed, car coasted down to 50mph and would lurch forward and cost back down. returning car to dealer again (mid february). quite dangerous to (repeatedly) loose acceleration and with no ability to maintain speed when driving at 70mph on a highway. *tr
