I was driving approx 40mph when the van suddenly shut off. no power steering, brakes, nothing. luckily i was able to pull into a gas station and apply the parking brake. it only happened once but now van is not recognizing when the key is removed from the ignition. dealer says its the win node. i noticed the recall of this part and how it has been expanded over the past year. chysler says my vehicle isnt involved in the recall but i hope someone looks into it further. my vehicle was built in october 2010 near the end of the model year. seems very likely to me that parts from other facilities could have been shipped to a different plant to finish out the year's activity.
