My vehicle is unstable when i drive at any distance or speed on the road. i had a recall for the calipers but i do not believe that the issue was fixed. i began having problems after the recall was corrected. i notice that my vehicle would pull to the right side. i took the vehicle to get an alignment but that did not solve the problem. the vehicle is also experiencing wobbling in the rear. i also notice that when i am making turns or lane changes, the vehicle will still pull to the right side. when making stops at the light or stop signs, the vehicle pulls to the right. the brakes and rotors have been change recently and a new alignment was performed but the car still has the same issue.

2002 Dodge Durango

While driving, no matter what speed the vehicle starts to sputter, loses power and will stall. i was low on gas, and took my car to a local gas station for fuel. after putting $10 in my car was running extremely rough. i was doing about 20 mph, when it just shut off. brakes got real hard. after re starting the vehicle all seemed normal. then, i drove about 3 car lengths and it did it again at a red light. i tried pushing the gas to see if that would do anything, it didnt. i drove all in , about 3 miles, and the car stalled 7 times. while in the drive through, it stalled 3 abd at one point jerked so far i thought i was going to hit the car in front of me. vehicle speed does not matter , as it will slowly lose power and turn off. i was driving locally on a city street. my best guess to this problem would be something related to the evap system, quite possibly the purge valve but im not 100% sure but this situation is very unsafe, i have 2 small children and cannot drive this vehicle. ...

I took my 2016 dodge durango to an independent garage (no longer under warranty) because the booster developed a vacuum leak inside under the dash. after removal, we found the booster was filled with water. i found a recall for earlier year dodge durangos from 2011-2014 with a similar issue (safety recall t59 / nhtsa 17v-572), and the fix was to install a shield to protect water from entering. my booster already had this shield and was installed correctly, yet it still filled with water. i purchased this vehicle used in august 2019, so i have no service history available. in addition to the pictures, i also took a video showing the water, please see this link: https://youtu.be/5bd3jwunfe4

The emergency brake cable simply broke upon regular deployment. the failure happened on a low grade hill, not a steep hill. the dealership, king's dodge, cincinnati, reported the cause of failure was weather corrosion to the components. the estimate to repair it was very expensive. i've never had an emergency brake fail on any of my previous dodge vehicles.

I downloaded and successfully installed a recommended software update to my 2017 dodge durango this past summer. since then i have noticed that i have difficulty shutting off the vehicle because something has changed in the timing of the the automatic shut-off and when i turn it off. i have occasionally started to leave the vehicle and found that i had not turned it off, but back on. this is an aggravation all by itself, but the reason for my real complaint was not discovered until i hooked up my trailer. i found that i cannot turn off or disable my park assist. when there is a near object such as a trailer, when i try to back up, the brakes lock on. i discovered this while in the middle of the road on a blind corner trying to back into a driveway. i live in the country so i had to go a mile down the road in order to find a place that i could u-turn. i then had to detach and manually park my trailer. i can tell you that was a little scary not being able to back into the driveway ...

The brake warning light came on and stated low fluid. i topped off the fluid. i checked all wheels for leaks and found none. several weeks later, the same warning appeared and break fluid was low again. i scheduled an appointment with apple dodge in hanover, pa. they found that the brake line had been rubbing on the steering column and rubbed a hole in the metal brake line causing the leak. this vehicle has never been in an accident and has never been "off-roading". i contacted dodge to request a refund of the brake system repair as i feel that this was a manufacturing defect and the vehicle left the factory with the condition of the brake line rubbing the steering column and this should be treated the same as a recall. dodge case management # 59431690. i was notified by phone today, 9/6/19, that dodge would only refund 50% of the repair cost. this brake system failure could have caused a very serious accident and even death. attached are copies of the invoice (2 pages), and pictures of the damaged brake line and worn area on the ...
